'ymir, what the hell was that?' y/n sighed, walking through her dorms front door,
'ymirs not here' her roommate responded, 'shes at her own dorm for once'

'oh, right, she doesn't live with us.' the h/c haired laughed. 'but it's glad to see you finally left your room,' she threw her handbag down on the sofa and took a seat in the kitchen with her friend.

'i bought you a cake from the bakery,' y/n smiled.
'what flavour?' the blonde inquired,
'i got chocolate, and cookie dough, take your pick' pulling out a bag of two cakes from her pocket.

the other looked down at them and hovered her hand above them both then picking up the chocolate iced one.

'so what were you going to say to ymir when you got back?' annie wondered,
'i went on a date' the girl replied, picking up the other cake.

'did they take you out for a romantic evening than at the end of the night lean in to kiss you then reach into your pocket and steal your money and phone, then proceed to run off afterwards and get in a car with a bunch of their friends then drive away?' the blue-eyed girl asked.

'that seemed specific, but, no; actually, i did something stupid.' her eyes fluttered shut as she took a long breath. 'i accidentally asked him and all his friends to come on the strip we go on every summer, in the cabin'

'oh god, does that mean we'll all have to share rooms?' annie groaned,
'don't worry, ill just put you with your girlfriend' y/n answered.

'alright, anyway what's this guy like?' the blonde questioned,
'actually, i think you know him, armin?' the taller girl told her.
'oh, that's cool, me and reiner had plans to set you two up a while ago,' annie told her.

'really?'
the girl nodded, taking a bite out of her cake and leaving crumbs around her top lip. y/n chuckled a little bit,
'i guess, enough about me inviting armin and his friends out for the summer, we havent talked in a while, have we?' she smiled.

'well, with those big tests comjng up, ive just been spending more time at hitches place and studying with her,' annie shrugged.
'maybe you and me could hang out soon, ive gotten used to not having you around the dorm -- but with everyone getting into relationships now, ymir and bertholdt have stopped coming by too.' y/n sighed.

annie sat in silence for a minute and the two girls avoided eye contact with eachother, y/n staring to the floor and annie looking at the cabinets above her.
'ill tell hitch that im going to be staying here for the evenings this week' she decided.

the other girl smiled, though they still sat in silence after that. staring at the ground for a few minutes.
'are you sure you want eren to come on the trip? he will ruin everything' annie asked, smiling slightly.

'just be patient with him,'
