The man tugged on my pants with his head down.
"Why?" I looked up to the sky then back at him.
"Well I might as well kill two birds with one stone right. Maybe I'll find some clues about the person I'm looking for so it won't be much of a problem with me to help them. Can you tell me how they look like?"
The emotions of fear, sadness and grief were swirling around him. Even though he has trustworthy I didn't let my down since the emotions around him could lead to desperation. There is no telling what he would do. He handed me a photo of him, a woman, and two children.
"They shouldn't be too hard to find. They all have a scar on their foreheads. On top of that they all have black and white hair."
I helped the man out for a while before I left him on his own. I told him where we were, told him how to get home, then gave him some money to get him started. After seeing him off the ring on my finger began to shine. Once it stopped three marks appeared. One was glowing the others weren't.
"What's this?"
I had an idea what it meant but I decided to go and check later. I bought a winter coat and a few spares then met up with everyone. Storm was waiting for me to come this time. We set off and after 3 days we eventually reached a fork in the road.
"Skylark did we make it in time?" He shook his head.
"No but it would be better if we took the other path." Everyone decided to go right but I went left.
"This is the path to the castle," Mina said pointing at the obvious placed sign.
"I know. I can read," I responded as I continued going down my path.
"A blizzards coming from that direction. So whenever that would happen my father would take this route and it ends up being faster. We'll still be hit by the blizzard but it feel like it went by faster."
Everyone ended up moving onto the left path after Julie did. Snow started to fall after the next day and white puffs of cloud came from my mouth everytime I exhaled.
"How much longer?" complained Mina.
"About two more days." I looked up at the sky.
"It's moving faster."
I dismounted Storm, my feet sunk into the snow and I started picking up some firewood. I walked away from the path and everyone followed me. There was a cave and I walked inside. Everyone's footsteps echoed in the cave behind me. I checked the area before using the wood everyone picked up I made a small fire and everyone sat down around it. I looked outside and the storm was picking up.
"Sorry bud. You're going to have to stay with us."
Storm raised his head then made himself comfortable. I assumed it was night fall by now and the storm didn't let up. I returned to everyone and they were all shivering except Olivier, Sophia, Mina, Philip, they all were wearing a coat. I put on mine and gave my spares to Aegis and Asurmaru. I walked over to Julie who didn't have one.
"Didn't you bring a coat?" She shook her head.
"I didn't expect it get this cold," She answerd.
I took off mine and gave to her. I walked away and lit my hand on fire. I kept it close to keep my warm. I sneezed and shivered a bit. I let the flame grow a bit more. I looked over to my right and saw that everyone was huddle together.
Well I guess I could review what I know about the gods and put what I know together, I stared at the flames.
Okay so there is 7 Archangels and 7 Fallen Angels that have been taken over by gods from other worlds. But they aren't attacking me directly or using the angels and demons against me. But their goal is to kill me so why not do that? I remembered what AngelSlayer or Haltsford said to me when I beat him.
