I crawled out of the vent and jumped down. We went to the door that Seth and the other god came from. I tried the knob and surprisingly it was unlock. We went inside and searched the place fixing everything to look like nothing happened.

"You find anything," I asked as I opened a cabinet.

"Nope." There was a book with a journal under it. I flipped through the pages.

There's dates, One of the pages was dated 16 years ago.

"Yesterday did not go so well but I heard from the other gods that we captured the queen of Millennia as well as the child she was holding."

The prince was the first thing that came to mind. Intrested I continued reading.

"They are all mad, we couldn't find what we were looking for. The queen and the child they caught is going to be brought over to me."

I flipped and read through the rest of the pages, most was reports of the coming of prisoners, their deaths, results of expirments. There was talk about the gods but there wasn't any clues as to anything about them. I continued on until I encountered another page that caught my attention.

"The queen and another prisoner has escaped but the queen...she doesn't even remember who she is. They will have nowhere to run. I have been told we must bring her back and the other can die. He is useless after all." This was dated two years ago.

I stashed the journal into my pouch and left the room. We checked the other door but that one was locked. I heard footsteps coming towards us, so we jumped into the vents. There were no other places to check out. We decided to leave. We returned to the city and got a room at the nearest inn. I took out the journal and showed the pages to Skylark.

"So the queen might be alive." I nodded.

"But he is saying that she can barely remember anything. So she might not know she is the queen at all." Skylark huffed.

"That would make sense after all it has been two years and nothing claims to say that she was recaptured." I added.

Skylark flipped through the pages using his nose.

"Yeah but there was some clues about where she was." He placed his paw on the left page dated about a year ago.

"The scouts have reported to have seen the queen in the village, Tinter. We sent troops to capture her but they failed once again. I've been getting a earful from the others. It's such a pain but I know her value. Although those in Tinter are rather strong maybe we can use one." I nodded.

"Yeah but it doesn't mean she'll be there now."

I read the last line again.

What do they mean by that? I asked myself.

I turned to the most recent page.

"We finally found him but, he managed to kill that good for nothing Haltford. Another one of us was killed by him. They say it's my turn now, I'll kill him and make him pay." I read the next page.

"Word came in that he defeated our army and became Triserenaga. Perfect. I'll kill him with our new one." I laughed.

"For a god of Chaos he really likes writing important things into a journal," I thought to myself as I put away Seth's journal.

"Although we still should be careful. I nearly died last time." I mentioned.

"Yeah but at least we got some good information. One thing concerns me though." I lied down and looked at him.

"The baby right?" Skylark nodded.

"Yeah me too, but right now we got to worry about Seth. After all he has the princess and I got to keep my promise to that man." I yawned and passed out.
