"I gotta say boyfriend. I admire your level of being so relaxed around people who try to kill you!" Girlfriend said from the couch watching her Boyfriend at the door waiting for his ride to arrive.
"It's not like Senpai tried to kill me," Boyfriend paused, "It's Spirit, your dad was nice enough to let Senpai out on his own, it wasn't his fault". The familiar pink car rolled up outside Girlfriend's house, Boyfriend looked at Girlfriend again before opening the front door, "Love you, be back soon" he beeped excitedly. Before she could even look back up from her phone he was gone.
With his window rolled down, Senpai yelled a greeting from inside the car waving Boyfriend to hop in. The cool air from the AC was a blessing compared to the hot, humid, summer sun, stepping inside Senpai's car was like stepping inside a freezer. With a satisfied "ah~" Boyfriend sat down and buckled himself inside. "I almost feel bad watching you sit in that huge seat, I've considered getting you a booster seat" Senpai smirked watching Boyfriend sink deeper into the seat. He had been watching him as soon as he left the front door.
Boyfriend rolled his eyes, crossing his arms, "Oh I'm a big boy I can handle it!"
"Your feet can't even reach the pedals, aren't I such a good guy for driving us everywhere?" Senpai smiled, putting the car back into drive. "Oh please, I'm surprised you can drive! I thought without Spirit you'd just be a lump of code" Boyfriend put his hands behind his head, he noticed Senpai's silence.
"Oh sorry, too far?" Boyfriend looked at Senpai in concern, they never spoke of Spirit much, but whenever he was brought up it was mostly by Senpai. Shuffling awkwardly in his seat, Boyfriend looked at his fingers, "Well if it means anything I'm glad you were able to be here on your own, you're such a good friend, Senpai." Seconds went by before Senpai let out a chuckle, "of course, like I said who else would drive you around, stumpy?" he glanced at him with his sparkling smile. Laughing more to ease the awkwardness Boyfriend spoke, "so I was thinking about trying this new pizza place down the street-" "I think we should go to my house" Senpai interrupted with a kind tone.
"Sure man, no problem, hopefully you have something to eat at your place because I am starving". Senpai simply replied with a subtle nod and smiled. Nothing but the rumble of the road and muffled radio music played between the two, there was never really much to speak about. The two had only been hanging out for a short amount of time. Senpai felt he was forever in debt to Boyfriend after begging Daddy Dearest to spare the unknowing AI, leaving spirit to destroy his home, school, and classmates.
Placing the car into park and turning off the engine Senpai swiftly removed himself to join the humid air. The discomfort of outside his car irritated him, "do you need help out of the seat or can you manage?" Senpai asked watching Boyfriend closely "Oh I'm fine, no need to worry about me" Boyfriend mumbled before stumbling out of the car nearly face first right on the driveway. Senpai rushed to his aid, reaching to the otherside of the car in a few steps. "You're so helpless" shaking his head, Senpai took Boyfriend's hand and led him inside his home.
Boyfriend's eyes adjusted to the home, stepping further inside admiring all the decoration. "Wow Senpai, you've done a lot of work after your housewarming party huh?" he turned to see Senpai who was fiddling with the door. "Right of course! Visiting everyone's home gave me such inspiration I had to do something about the barren walls right?" Waltzing further into the home Senpai pointed out many of the differences within the home, he was fortunate to get the hookup from Daddy Dearest, he couldn't let an AI go waltzing around getting a job under his own fault. Boyfriend reached down the hallways before pointing at a door, "Hey this is your art room right? Is it okay if I look inside?" Boyfriend questioned.
