The monsters began to gather above me. I moved in closer until I was finally underneath them. I pulled out my gun and shot my last bullet. The monsters exploded and I cut down the monster around me. Everyone else finished off the remaining ones. I put my sword and gun away after reloading it.
"Guess it works." I mumbled as I stared at my hand.
No more monsters appeared. I closed my eyes then opened them.
"There aren't any others around." I said.
"So what was that exactly, in detail?" Nolan asked.
"Thanks for pushing the monsters closer to make it easier for me." I looked back at Nolan.
"Well anyways. I used a controlled version of the Mertphitan Art: Argonaut." I answered.
"That was the one you used at Evergreen Field." Julie said.
"Yeah but as you saw it wasn't as big as before. The reason being is that normally when I swing my sword the energy gets released and keeps on expanding and moving for about a minute." I said.
"But using a Biokoltina Art, I enchanted my sword to be able to hold the energy in without shattering." I explained.
"I also spread a bit of the energy through my body just in case using a Physiolnoe Art. Due to the way the Art normally works I can only move in a single direction. The sword doesn't grow as quickly as it normally would." I added.
"I can perform 8 rapid strikes before I am forced to stop. During that moment I turn to another direction and use Biorkoltina to increase my speed." I continued.
"Doesn't that take a lot of energy?" I shrugged in response.
"I wonder is using a dark corridor will help with this?" I mumbled.
"That's a long explanation." Nolan complained.
"You did ask me to explain it in detail." I sighed.
"Anyways did anyone find the monsters strange?" Sophia asked.
"Yeah but I don't have an answer for it." I answered.
"Same here." Julie said.
Everyone else had the same look of confusion on their face.
"Another thing that defies our current knowledge. Could these monsters and Skabelse be related?" I asked myself.
"Maybe I should ask Ansel and Evangeline. It would be better to get more ideas from them but we barley know anything about Skabelse. Ezekiel might not know much either." I sighed to myself.
"I should tell him anyways just in case." I mumbled.
"Did you figure something out?" Sophia asked.
I shook my head.
"No sorry. I have nothing." I sighed.
"Might as well continue our search for the mansion maybe that might have some clues as to what's going on." I nodded.
"So are you two going to be coming with us?" I looked at Sophia and Oliver who nodded.
"Okay." I called for Storm.
"They're really coming?" Julie asked.
"Yeah. They may be a bit strange at times but they are skilled and there is no denying that." Sophia glanced at Julie again with a smile.
Julie looked away. I turned to Nolan and Oliver. They both just shrugged. Storm came and I mounted him.
"You guys stay here." Skylark jumped on.
