Mason lived as an only child, his father wasn't the bests of men. Mason's dad abused him blaming him for putting his mother in the hospital dying from cancer. He is in his last year of high school and was held back by 1 year.

Darren grew up with a nice family having a little sister. He lived with intrusive thoughts that his parents didn't really bother with due to it being a normal thing for them. Darren soon lost control of his mind and hurt his parents and almost hurt his sister at the age of 15. They sent him to a mental hospital until he got better at age 17. He lived a normal life after that and he got his own house and works at a tattoo place.
