Chapter 12

Emily POV

I sit in the corner across from Alex. We sit in silence. I gave up on getting out long ago. My phone was taken, and Alex says her's was dropped in the apartment. There is no hope anymore.  I am out of tears. I just sit there. Than the door opens. 

"Come on lady's, time to move," A man says in a gruff voice. We don't move. "You better get up now or you will regret it!" the man threatens. I don't move. I am not sure if I could move if I wanted to. Than I feel it. A searing, white hot pain in my back. I cry out in pain as the man pulls me to my feel. Alex stands the second he turns to her. I feel hot tears pool in my eyes. He whipped me. He whipped me like a horse not running fast enough. Alex helps me walk down the stairs and to the front hall. He throws us clean close, and points us to the only small restroom. There are no windows. We change out of our grimy and dirty cloths. I rummage through my old pockets, but find nothing worth taking. We clean up, and we just look at each other.

"Emily, take off your shirt again so I can check if it is bad," Alex advises, and I follow threw. The cold air makes it feel a bit better. "This is going to sting," Alex warns, before putting water on it to clean it. I bite my tongue agenced the pain and than it is over. She uses some bandages that she found to rap it up. We finally leave the bathroom, and we are gruffly pushed out of the house and toward a van. It looks like your basic miny van. Just as we reach it, I see it. A blue car. His blue car. Cole's blue car. I feel my heart flutter. I feel hope. I nudge Alex and nod my head slightly toward the distant car. Her eyes go wide. To my horror, the man sees the car to. 

"Shit!" he mumbles and pushes us hard into the car. I turn and try to open the door, but it is already locked.

"No!" I shout. "No! Cole!" I try the window and it opens. We are pulling out of the driveway andI can see Cole's car so close, but not enough. "Cole!" I scream out the window, my head hanging out so he will see. We see a head out of the passenger seat. It is Gabe. 

"Gabe!" Alex shouts joining me at the window. 

"Shut it you pieces of Shit!" The man yells, and he reaches for the button to close the window. I only have seconds.

"Cole!" I shout. "I love you!" than the window is shut.

Coles POV 

I get into my car and Gabe is right behind me. I don't know exactly where it is, but Gabe helps guide me. We drive fast, and Gable has to continuously warn me about speeding. I want to drive as fast as the car can go to reach and save her.  We drive down the rode that it is on and I see a man and who I assume to be is two daughters go into their van. I can't see their faces, we are too far away. I open the windows, feeling really hot and nervous. For some reason I look back at the van. One of the windows are open, and I hear a shout. I would  Know the voice anywhere.

"Cole!" Emily shouts. My heart breaks at the desperate tone. She sounds so scared. I drive faster, and Gabe opens his window. 

"Gabe!" I hear Alex shout. I drive faster, but I know that we woun't be able to reach them. Gabe opens his phone, take a picture of the license plate, and calls the cops.  I see the window start to go up, and I drive faster. I hear her words then, Emily's words just before the window closes. "Cole! I love you!". My heart breaks. She loves me back, but she is gone. We quickly loose them, and I pull over. I cry then. Gabe gives me a hug, and I can feel his tears too.

So i am so sorry I haven't updated in a while. Between school, homework, sleep, and other activtys I have had trouble finding time. I will do my best to update more often. Now, one question- Should I end this soon? I could end it happily, or end it badly but have a sequal. What do you want? PLZ COMENT AND TELL ME!
