"are you sure this is a good idea?"
What a stupid question. The obvious answer is no. How could drowning your emotions in alcohol solve anything? It's a rather pointless waste of time in Tolys' opinion. There were many, much more productive things he could be doing in the meantime. But, sadly, Eduard just didn't want to give up this time. Apparently his friend Tino reccomended this bar to him not long ago, and he has been dying to try it since. Though Tolys felt like Eduard wanted to try it more to fit with Tino and his friend group rather than his own need for alcohol. Neither of them were really fond of alcohol due to their rather bad experiences with it. But today was a particularly bad day at work that left Tolys completely exhausted and in desperate need for a cheer up, and according to all his friends (which there weren't many) the best option was alcohol. Well there is a first time for everything as they say.
"Of course, when have i ever given bad ideas?"
The Estonian blonde replied with a rather cocky tone to his voice. Tolys couldn't help but raise an eyebrow to that.
"when have you given me a good one?" sighed the Lithuanian before stopping before a large wooden door. The building was nice, it wasn't too large and was nicely decorated in simple wooden decor. Faint music could be heard from the inside along with chatter and laughing of men and women alike. Though, by the sound of it the bar was mostly filled with older men. Something about the atmosphere was both inviting and dangerous, like the sea inviting you for a swim while pulling you to the bottom.
"well, what are we waiting for? It's been a while since we've relaxed, and we deserve it!"
"yeah" is all Tolys could say. He was almost completely frozen. It has been a while since he drunk, and even longer since he's been at a bar. With shaky hands he reached to open the entrance, slowly taking im the overwhelming smell and noise inside.
Inside where tables mostly filled with middle-aged men laughing after a long day of work. The waitresses and bartenders were busily working while maintaining small talk with customers that sat besides the bar. On a small stage was a band singing crowd's music requests. At the front stood a pretty brunette with a long dress and pink flowers in her head. She looked to be in her mid-20s with beautiful forest green eyes. Behind her played the piano a dark haired man with glasses. What was striking were his bright violet eyes. He was glaring at the man playing saxophone. The man was very strange, with snow white hair, very pale complexion and striking royal purple eyes. He looked, almost like a ghost. But nothing could compare to the singer in front of him.
The person had soft, blonde hair that reached down to their shoulder. They wore a pink skirt with black Mary-janes and had a pin in their hair. But the most striking thing about them, were their eyes. They had bright emerald green eyes that were shining with the lights in the room. Something about them resembled a star. Was it their energy, or their brightness, who knew? All Tolys knew was that he couldn't stop looking at them for some reason.
"they're pretty good, huh? Tino told me about them, apparently they sing here every Friday or so. They're very popular in this bar"
"yea, they're good." is all Tolys could say. It was rather stupid to be so amazed by a person, to the point of zoning out, but here he was staring at them for what seemed like a minute and an hour st the same time.
"Thank you everyone!"
It took these words spoken by the blonde to realize that they've finished their song. Blowing a kiss, to the public the blonde smiled and bowed down again, seemingly pleased with their performance. Soon the long haired brunette chimed in "we're taking any requests now. If you've got a song you'd like us to sing, please go ahead! " the brunette smiled. Her voice was pleasant amd soft, almost like a big sister or a mother.
A member of the bar came to the front stage and whispered something to the brunette, as she smiled and nodded. He walked away almost embarrassed but also with a spring in his step like he was almost excited.
"here is I do, I Do, i Do! Enjoy!"
And before anybody knew it, the loud but smooth sound of a saxophone echoed through the building. Some people cheered, some clapped but most everyone listened to the wonderful music being played.
The blonde starred with the first notes of the song, soon being joined in with the brunette.
"love me or leave me, make your choice but belive me. I love you, i do, i do, i do, i do, i do."Again, Tolys found himself mesmerized by the blonde slowly dancing and singing, completely forgetting about the Estonian blonde next to him.
"hey, i asked what do you want to order?!"
"oh, um" Tolys quickly snapped out of his daydream, pretty embarrassed that he got distracted so easily. "I'll have some rum?"
"okay"
To be honest, he ordered the first thing that came to mind, without really thinking about it. Who knows, maybe some rum could get him to loosen up a little.
His eyes wondered back to the stage where the band kept playing.
"so come on, now, let's try it. I love you, can't deny it. 'couse it's true, i do, i do, i do, i do, i do."
Tolys sighed, leaning his head on his right arm, enjoying the view and the music.
"you really like them, huh?"
"yeah.."
"let's see if i remember this correctly" said Eduard "the one on the piano is Roderich, he's a rich guy from Austria or something. The white guy next to him is Gilbert. He has a condition called albinism or something. Means he's almost completely white!"
"interesting.."
"the pretty brunette is Elizaveta. She's a pretty popular girl from Hungary. Apparently very smart too. And next to her is Feliks. He's a guy from Poland or something"
"uh-huh" Was all Tolys could say. He had been only half listening, but it took only a second for something to click in his mind.
The beautiful blonde, was a HE?
