Chapter 7

Ariana's POV

My team won the task again.

This is what I would really like to tell to my mom and dad while we are eating together right now. But they are talking about the business and whatsoever. Ugh, I could not make a way to butt in their deep conversation. With regards to business, I have nothing to give more than that because they are always talking about the status of the company. While I'm listening to them, I decide to keep it rather in myself. Yes, they are not exactly interested for what I'm going to tell for sure.

My phone beeps and when I check the message, it's Danister who is now waiting outside.

"Oh, Ariana, are you going to say something?"

Through my plain smile, I manage to respond while keeping my phone in my pocket. "Nothing, mom. By the way, I have to go."

"Wait for your dad," my mom says, but I heave a sigh after I get up from the chair.

"I'll just commute," I reply, then I take the bag from the sofa and directly go out from the house.

"Hey Yana," he sweetly calls my name when he lowers down his car's window. "Get inside, my babe."

After I come in his car, right away I kiss him on his lips before he is able to start the engine. I lean on his shoulder while he is driving. Whoa, the security I am feeling beside him is so incomparable.

"Does your mom already knew about us?" He breaks the silence inside right after he asks that question.

"I have no plan to tell it to my mom and dad, Nis. They have no time for me. They are both on the freaking business."

"You can tell it in some other time, Yana."

By heaving a sigh, a look at his face while I am still leaning on his shoulder. I can't control myself but to kiss him again. His lips are so irresistible. I could really give in any moment we are just two.

"Ops, just calm down, my babe," he manages still to speak while I am owning his lips. "We can do it later. For now, I have to drive safely."

"Fine," I sit straight and adjust the seatbelt on me.

"Don't sulk on me, okay? I'm just here for you, my babe."

"As what you have said, we can have it later so it's still fine, Nis," I clarify.

"That's my babe, you're so sweet," he pinches my nose but I sit still while looking at the cars ahead.

Oh, such a nice feeling to have this kind of moment with. Two days have already passed after that night in the hut we started our intimacy. Many things have changed after he came to my life in just two days. I don't want to lose this guy at any cost.

"Here we go," he parks the car at the parking lot near the tents. Everyone's eyes are all ready to see the both of us.

"How lucky that guy is. Who is his name again?"

"How I wish to have one like him!"

"I'm afraid she just uses him to cover the break up she had."

Murmurs arise, the whispers around are getting louder when they see us having no little attention to their pitiful talks. We just continue walking to our tent, holding each other's hand, acting as if we are deaf on their stand on us.

"Why are we not like that, Dentor?" Lyndsey starts to emote while grabbing Dentor's arm. Danister just laughs for what Lyndsey's mood today. She's like a child having tantrums for the thing she was not able to get through herself. How pitiful Lyndsey is for her desire haha!
