"Y/N. You have to come out of there sometime.""No."
The second your eyes laid upon them, you ran into the restroom down the hall.
"Fine, you can live in here, then."
"Fine by me."
"I can't believe you."
"I can't believe you! You tricked me!"
"Only because I believe you need some closure."
"Closure my ass."
"I'm leaving now," Lae says, and you hear the door to the restroom open and close.
Angry at her, you step out of the stall you had locked yourself into, cursing at yourself in the mirror.
After spending a minute more in the restroom, you decide to go out at find Lae so you can take her home and put this all behind you.
Exiting the restroom, you hold your doctors coat and and stethoscope in your right hand, your phone in the other.
"So-"
"Jesus Christ!" You turn around and face where the voice came from.
A calm voice speaks to you, "long time no see, am I right?"
"Yes, Yoongi, very long time."
He chuckles lowly. You keep your eyes on the floor.
"Are you mad at us?"
"No, Jimin."
"Then why won't you look at us?"
"Because, Jungkook, I can't."
"Because you won't or because you can't, Y/N?"
You smile. You've always loved the way your name rolled off each of their tongues. Something about it seemed so much more like home.
"Because I can't, Namjoon."
"Why? Why, why, why?!"
"Because if I look at you, I don't know if I'll ever be able to stop that feeling from coming back, Taehyung!"
"What are you talking about?"
"You know what I'm talking about, Seokjin, don't make me say it."
"We've missed you, so much, Y/N, won't you please just spare us a glance?"
"You know I can't, Hoseok."
You begin to walk away.
"What if I told you that I loved you," he says.
You stop in your tracks.
"What if I told you that you're my entire world, always have been," Jimin says, eyes glimmering with hope.
"That you're my moon," Seokjin says.
"My stars," Namjoon lists.
"My everything in between," Jungkook goes on.
"You're everything I never knew I needed," Yoongi says.
"And that my heart belongs to you," Taehyung finishes.
Finally, you turn around, tears brimming in your eyes.
"I'd tell you it's too late."
Turning around, you walk down the hall, back into the gym, and grab Lae. One look into your eyes and she's already agreeing to leave.
