Part 1

Amanda's dad owned a bar where he lived and breather everyday, and since Amanda was getting house work done at her house she was staying with her dad. Amanda and her dad weren't always close. The last time they really talked was when she was 14 when her dad left her mom. Her dad and Amanda didn't have a great relationship when she was a teenager.
But as she got older they started rekindled their relationship. She blamed her mom for the reason her dad left and never came around.

Since they weren't really busy olivia sai they could go home. And Amanda was already with her dad at the bar helping him serve drinks to people.

Amanda: dad seriously I'm just saying your going to serve drinks the rest of your life
James Amanda's dad; oh come on I love it just like you love being a cop.
Amanda: okay okay I see your point.
James: so where that cute boyfriend of yours
Amanda: he's not my boyfriend
James: whatever you say but I see the way y'all look at each other a father knows. Who can't fool me.
Some spills something all over the floor Amanda: I'll get that dad
James: good.. I mean thanks
Amanda: ahuh

Mean while Finn and nick we're walking home
When they finally found a bar to go to little did they know it was Amanda's dads bar

Finn: so what's up with you and Your wife
Nick: we're in the middle of a divorce
Finn: looks at him

Finn: oh nothing

Finn; fine. It better not be because of Amanda
Nick: I.. It's not
Finn: I've learned a lot from this job the malt important is you can't bring the job home with you and you can't bring someone from your job home with you it never works it just complicates thing.
Nick: how long have you known
Finn: for a few weeks
Finn: you can only hide a secret for so long look if you want you both to keep your jobs you need to end it before it's to late
Nick: I'm afraid it's already to late
Finn: look it's your business but business and pleasure don't mix never have never will.

Finn& nick finally walk in and sit down when they see Amanda cleaning up the floor
Finn: speak of the devil what's she doing here
Nick: no idea here you order us some drinks
Finn: yep don't take my advice he thinks }

Some guy is bugging Amanda trying to flirt with her
Amanda : look you drunk jerk leave me alone
Drunk guy: fiesty much hits her butt}
Nick; I believe she said to go away.
Drunk guy ; what are yo going to do you her dad
Nick: punches the guy no I'm here boyfriend.
Her dad comes over what the hell is going on
Finn: oh my god
Amanda : dad it's okay
James: I want the drunk guy out of my bar now he yells
The drunk guy leaves
Nick hand is bleeding
Amanda : grabs him here come with me she gets a wet washcloth and puts it on his hand
Nick: thanks
Amanda: since when am I your girlfriend
Nick: it just it slipped
Amanda: look I appreciate you defended me but I don't need you to protect me.
Nick: I'm getting a divorce
Amanda: okay
Nick: I know we haven't been talking but
Amanda: but what you think I'm going to just jump into bed with you and will be okay nick we both know this watever we are it never works. You still love your wife and you have a kid with her and I'm your partner so tell me how that's suppose to work out ?
Nick: i didn't say that and I don't love her anymore I didn't think that through I I just want to be with you
Amanda: nick were partners that's it and what we had It was just a mistake that should never happen again She says with tears rolling down her I'm sorry I have to go.
Nick: sighs *
Amanda leaves "

Finn is on his third drink *
When he sees Amanda walk out the door
James: I swear if he hurt my daughter were going to have some problems
Finn: but there partners
James: you can't help who you fall in love
Finn: but it would never work out it would be Sacrificing their jobs
James: all love is sacrifice

Finn pays for the drinks
Walks outside to Amanda
Finn: hey Amanda
Amanda: oh hey
Finn: you took my advice didn't you
Amanda: it should make you happy
Finn: not if my friend is hurting
Amanda: I always hurt what's the difference

Mean while Nick sits down and orders a drink
James: you okay nick
Nick: yeah your Amanda's dad
James : yeah
Nick: she talks about you

Nick: let me guess that I'm the worst partner ever
James: no all good things.
Nick: really?
James: yeah and she really cares about high
Nick: doesn't seem like it sometimes
James: that's cause she is afraid to te you how she feels she doesn't want to believe in someone and then get let down and hurt. So she pretends everything is okay.
Nick: looks at him
James: yes I know about y'all I also know you hurt my daughter I hurt you
Nick: she broke up with me
James: so fight for the woman if you really want her
Nick: will do thanks have a nice night
Amanda walks in
Nick and Amanda bump into each other
Nick; good night
