On the wrong side of the tracks in a small town where everyone's doorknob knew everyone's hand, a boy, maybe only 15, was wide awake. He dashed behind a corner, dragging his friend behind him. They had been in a gunfight, and his friend had been shot in the leg. Rolling up his sleeves, and revealing his wolf tattoo, he ripped his friend's pant leg a bit so he could see the wound. The boy whipped out his old phone and started to type in the number of his papa. His phone was so old, in fact, that he could not even save numbers in it. His fingers stumbled, and without double-checking the number, he pressed call.

On the right side of the tracks, meanwhile, in the most pristine neighborhood, on the most immaculate street, in one of the biggest houses, on the third floor (there were many), in a large, lavish, bed, lay a small girl, only maybe 4' 5'', only maybe a few months younger than him, with pixie-like hair and a small smile on her face, fast asleep. Her phone began buzzing on the side table beside her. Being a light sleeper, she awoke, rubbing her eyes. UNKNOWN flashed across the screen as she picked up her phone and pressed answer.
