"She asked her that?" Salome laughed. "Imani you can't ask people that."
"Why not?" Imani asked. "She didn't mind."
"Because it's adult stuff," Salome said.
"Oh," Imani smiled and went back to coloring in her coloring book.
"So Hades, she's pretty," Salome said.
"Yeah," Hades said trying not to give too many details. But his sister has caught on to it.
"Oh my god, Hades," she scooted closer. "She's your mate?" She whispered. He groaned. "She is." He nodded.
"It's bad," Hades said. "She's a vampire, our enemy."
"She doesn't have to be," Salome said. "There's always a first."
"I guess," Hades sighed. "But it ain't me with the problem. It's Aides."
"Oh I knew it," Salome smacked his head. "Aides stop being such a jerk."
'She's noisy,' Aides said.
'She's our sister,' Hades said. 'So suck it up.'
"Don't worry I won't tell anyone," Salome said.
"Alright thanks, sis," he smiled.
"Mom!" Miley ran toward them. "Have you seen my blue shirt!"
"I think it's in the washer," Salome said. "Let's go look."
Hades sighed and flopped down on the couch. He can't get her face out of his head. All he sees is her now, Honey.
"Uncle Hades?" He looked at Imani. She had a red mark on her cheek.
"Imani, don't color on yourself," he said. She giggled.
"Can I color on you?" She asked.
"No," he said. Imani looked at him innocently. "Imani?"
"It's a flower uncle," he got up and looked in the mirror. There on his cheek was a flower, in marker. When did she do this? Oh right, she was poking his cheek. "Pretty."
"Yeah," he sighed.
Imani was the only that seems to be attached to him. Sometimes she pops into his bed when she has nightmares. Sometimes Imani asks him to shoo away the monster in her closet and under the bed. She's an adorable kid. But troublesome, always asking questions she's not supposed to ask.
"Hey," Sebastian walked in and sighed. "What a day." He's a good mate and husband to his sister. "What?"
"Didn't you learn anything from my uncle?" Hades asked.
"Nope, no one can change who I am," he said. Then his sister came in. "Except her."
"Damn right," she walked to him and kissed him. Hades closed his eyes. "Hades this a natural thing."
"Yeah, but you're my sister, and it's awkward," Hades said.
"Oh you," she smiled. "So what up?"
"Nothing, just lots of work," Sebastian said. "Lots of activity going on, close to the border."
"Vampires?" Hades asked.
"Yeah, I think," he sighed and sat down. "Tasha and Jerry, are walking along the border. Keeping the borders safe."
"I see," Jerry is Sebastian second in command. And Tasha is like Salome's helper. Helps Salome out around the pack. And with the children's.
"Daddy!" Imani ran over and jumped into his arms.
"Hey there puppy," he calls her puppy. She is like a puppy who won't stay still and wonders around a lot.
"Can I have a bear?" Imani asked, and Hades laughed. Salome smacked him.
"Um, Imani, sweetie," Sebastian looked at her. "We can't get a bear, that's not possible."
"Daddy, a giant teddy bear," she said.
"Oh," Sebastian smiled. "Sure you can."
"Yeah, I saw it at the store, I want the white one with the red bow," she sure loved her bears.
"Okay, your uncle Hades will get it for you," Hades sorta blacked out.
"Yay!" Hades glared. Sebastian just smirked.
"Tomorrow okay," Imani nodded.
During the night, Hades laid in bed. Sebastian is always doing that. The other two aren't bad Imani is a bit pampered.
"Nice place," he jumped and fell off the bed. "Whoops."
"What are you doing here?" Getting up and he locked the door in case Imani pops in.
"I'm bored," Honey said and flopped down on the bed. "So comfy."
"What your coffin isn't?" Hades chuckled
Honey looked at him. "I do not sleep in no coffin," she glared. "Those are old style. Like way back. We sleep in beds. Honestly, you shouldn't believe all those myths. Some aren't true."
"Oh I see," Hades sat down. "Well can you leave?"
"Nope," she made herself comfortable. "Don't worry; I'll leave once you're asleep."
"Ah no," he said. "My niece sometimes comes in and sleeps with me. When she has nightmares."
"Well I'll be gone by then," she pulled him down. "This is much better."
"You're not going to leave are you?" Hades said. "Even if I ask nicely?"
"No," she smiled. "I'm stubborn. You need to relax a bit. Be a bit rebellious. It won't hurt for you to relax. It's not like I'll jump you."
Honey wants that to kiss him and hold him. Well, she's cuddling him right now. But she wanted more from him.
But that won't happen since Hade's wolf doesn't like her. Oh, but she will make him like her. Somehow she will.
"It's strange to know you been watching me all this time," he said. "You were stalking me."
"Like you wouldn't do that too," Honey said.
She smiled and rested her head on his chest. He was warm and smelled good. She wanted to kiss him. Hopefully, he'll make the first move.
'She's more than stubborn,' Aides said. 'I could smell her. Her hormones are high rocking.'
Hades sniffed. And he can smell her now. He tried his best not to do anything. To not touch her but it's so hard.
"Why's wrong, do I stink?" She glared.
"Nope," he said.
"Then stop sniffing me, it's creepy," she said and snuggled closer. "You're warm."
'Keep it down!' Aides said.
'Trying to,' Hades said.
"Are you in pain?" She asked.
"I'm fine," he breathes in and out.
She straddles him. Oh no, this isn't good. Why would she do that? She tilts her head, smiling she leaned down. Hades tried pushing Honey away, but this was tempting. His body was reacting to hers, in a way it shouldn't.
"Oh," Honey was close. Her lips were grazing his.
What is she doing to him?
'She's controlling you that's what!' Aides said.
He'll let her control him anytime she wants.
