Accidents happen, chapter one: love

"Amira...... Amira" I heard someone call. I smiled recognizing the voice

"come on Amira, I know your awake"

I giggled and opened my eyes to be greeted by my Junhyung's smiling face. The sun was shining in through my window making me squint for a moment. He was sitting on the corner of my bed playing with my hair

"what are you doing here?" I asked smiling closing my sleepy eyes once again "I thought you had a meeting over regulations or the new building or something"

Junhyun is part of large architectural corporation. He has to monitor everything that goes thru the company is within code regulations and is cost efficient. He also helps with interior designs and landscaping.

"It got cancelled so I got the day off." he kissed my forehead "so I thought I'd spend the day with you sleepy head"

I smiled and opened my eyes again looking at him.

We'd been together for over a year now. We met when we both volenteered at an orphanage acrossed town. We both volenteered a few times and slowly became friends until one day we were helping the younger kids when he got puked on by a baby and I helped him clean up. That's when he asked me out to dinner. Since then we've been inseparable.

I stretched and groaned "five more minutes!"

He laughed and tugged at my blanket "no! Out of bed!"

I pouted

"come on, I'll make you some coffee" he stood up and walked over to my kitchen area. (apartment in photo above)

I sat up scratching my head and looking across too my desk to look at the clock. 8:45am it read.

I stood up and stretched some more, reaching high above me. This caused my large T-shirt to pull up revealing my black lace panties beneath, since I wasn't wearing any pants.

I caught Junhyun looking and smiling too himself. I decided to have more fun. I bent over "stretching my legs" pointing my butt in his direction.

He walked over in my direction and pulled the curtains to my large window shut.

"stop someone could see you" he complained.

"good point, thanks" I turned so my butt was once again towards him and did it again

He smiled and scoffed at me "your a tease"

I looked behind me and smiled "no idea what your talking about" I stood up straight and walked to the kitchen pouring myself a cup of coffee.

"do you want some?" I asked

Junhyun came over and sat at my small round dinning table "yeah, but hurry and get dressed she we'll go get breakfast at that cafe you like. Then I'll take you shopping"

I brought him his cup smiling and excited to be able to spend the day with him.

While drinking my coffee I quickly pulled on a pair of dark red tribal shorts with a white shirt and a white knit cardigan over top. After that I pulled my hair into a top knot bun and did some quick natural makeup.

The entire time I was getting dressed he was sitting there playing with my grey earless cat, Loki. He giggled to himself everytime the cat would jump around and play as all cats do. It was cute.

"alright, let's go" I said while pulling on a tan large sun hat and grabbing my purse.

We walked down the street hand in hand and talked about random things from how we slept to our dreams, to what we needed to get done in the next week,etc. I loved hearing him talk. I loved his voice, and the look he got on his face when he would talk about something he was passionate about.

We got many awkward stares walking down the street as usual. I was used to it being a forighner in Korea, and sometimes I wondered if they ever bothered him. If they did then he never showed any ounce of it. He was usually smiling brightly when he was with me.

We walked into the small hip hop styled cafe that I loved and took a seat in the corner ordering some breakfast.

It didnt take long for our food to make it to our table. Junhyun had a vegetable omelet while I had eggs with a side of fruit and we shared a small side of seasoned tofu and kimchi.

"so how has your family been? Is your sister in law doing well? Did your younger brother get in college?" he asked me while taking a bite.

Junhyun is very close to my older brother and met his wife and daughter when they came to visit me last Christmas. He tries to be very close to the rest of my family (who he's met through video chat with be) and loves checking on them

"Jessi is doing well. Her and Robert finally just put down a down payment on the house they were looking at. And Garrett got a few acceptance letters from different places but not the one he wanted and he hasn't decided yet" I responded.

"that's good. That house is a good investment for them, and im sure Garrett will get the letter soon. If he doesn't then at least he's heard from many others"

I nodded

"how is your mom? And dad? Did they receive the gifts I sent them?"

Junhyun also tried to make sure my parents loved him even though they never met in person and would often send them things and keep in regular check with them

"their good, I'm not sure if they got anything yet, but my mom sent you some things when she mailed me ill have too give it to you later" I smiled loving how hard he tried

"so where do you want to go shopping first?" he asked

"hmm, I need to run down to the fish market but let's make that last do we don't smell"

He laughed

"let's go to the new store they just opened down the road"

About that time I heard a faint buzzing noise and he reached down pulling his phone out of his pocket. I could tell by the uncomfortable look that came acrossed his face, that it was his dad.

He looked at me and tried to smile "just one moment"

He turned to the side away from me "hello"

I could hear the faint familiar yet unknown voice of his father. I'd never met any of Junhyun's family before. I know he has a younger brother but I've never met him. I know that its not that common too meet family early in Korea, not unless your ready for marriage, but sometimes it made me upset at how little he would tell me about his family.

"Yes. Yes. I understand. Yes. I'll be there soon" he said in the phone then hung up looking down then back up to me "I'm, I'm sorry, my father needs me to come, I have to go... As soon as I'm done I'll come and maybe we can get dinner together" he looked hopeful but only knew that he wouldn't be done until way later as usual

"don't worry" I told him "I'll see you tonight then" I smiled warmly

"I'll walk you back to your apartment"

I shook my head "I have to go to the market anyway, so don't worry"

He sighed "I'm sorry.. I'll make sure to make time for just us soon."

"stop worrying about me" I grabbed his hand that was resting on the table "I know your just busy, it doesn't bother me, I love you"

He smiled "I love you too"

"now go, before your late you don't want to keep your family waiting"

He nodded and stood up. He paid then left leaving me there to finish my breakfast alone.

Okay so I know nothing really happened in this chapter but mainly it's just to get things started. A lot of drama is to come so keep reading. I might make each chapter a little shorter than I usually do with my imagines. Not sure yet might just be this one lol hope you enjoyed and look forward for more.
