Betrayed Yet Punished

Napadungaw naman ako sa nang marunig ko na naman ang malakas na hampas ng mga alon na siyang tila ba hindi mapermi. It has been days that the sea had been like this. Masyadong bayolente. Napahinga naman ako ng malamin saka tiningnan ang repleksyon ko sa isang salamin. If you'd look into my eyes, you'll surely be turned into a stone. But why everytime I'll take a glance in  this mirror, I still do looked normal? Dahan-dahan ko namang hinaplos ang repleksyon ko sa salamin. I've wished I could turn back time. I wished I didn't let him fooled me by his love. Or does he really love me? I'm just one of his past times. That bastard, Poseidon.

Napabuga naman ako ng hangin habang nakatingin sa kalangitan. The night sky is really one of the things that I'd love to stare at.

"And same as the night sky, you're one of the things that I can't resist. I'd also love to stare at you. Day and night.", napakurap-kurap naman ako nang marinig ko ang isang pamilyar na boses. It was Poseidon. Kapatid ni Athena, which is where I am assigned. Isa ako sa mga tumutulong sa kanya. And I am very much aware that one of our rules was to stay away from men, especially from the likes of Poseidon.

"Si Athena ho ba ang hinahanap niyo?", magalang kong tanong at ngumiti naman ito.

"Nope, I'm just here to take a glance in that beauty of yours.", sagot niya kaya napalunok naman ako. Hindi ko naman mapigilang hindi kabahan nang magsimula itong humakbang papalapit sa akin.

"And the more that I stare at you, the more that I'd love to have you.", bulong niya sa akin kaya naiawang ko naman ang aking mga labi. I saw how desired flicker in his eyes as he stared at my parted lips. Sh*t, this isn't good. I was about to step back nang marinig ko ang boses ng kanyang kapatid.

"Poseidon, napadayo ka yata rito?", napapikit naman ako ng mariin nang marinig ko ang papalapit nitong mga yabag.

"Nothing, tumitingin-tingin lang. Is there a problem in that, Athena?", napasulyap naman ako kay Athena na siyang napatingin sa akin.

"Are you messing with one of my priestess? Oh jerk off, Poseidon, they're my possessions so stay away from them.", may pangbabanta na sambit ni Athena pero tinatawanan lamang siya ng kanyang kapatid.

"Fine, aalis na nga ako. I just passed by, to see you if you're good.", sagot nito bago tuluyang umalis.

"Anong pinag-usapan niyo?", striktang tanong ni Athena at umiling naman ako.

"He's just asking if you're here Miss Athena.", pagsisinungaling ko. Mapaghahalataang hindi ito naniniwala sa sinasabi ko, but I think since this was the first time she let it slide. Buti naman, I don't want to be in trouble.

Ngunit makalipas ang ilang araw ay muli na namang bumalik si Poseidon. Mukhang sinasadya niya pang pumarito sa tuwing wala si Athena.

"Poseidon! Tigilan mo ako!", pagpigil ko rito.

"There's desire in your eyes, milady, why are you suppressing it?", naikuyom ko naman ang kamao ko dahil sa sinabi niya.

"Because Athena will be mad? That's why you're turning me down? I'm also a god! I can protect you!", napatitig naman ako sa mga mata niya. It was full of emotion. It felt like, he was really sincere. And that's when I gave in. I was just a mere priestess, and he's a god? How can I just resist him?

We've been meeting discretely, behind Athena's back. Pinanghawakan ko ang sinabi niyang po-protektahan niya ako. That he'll do anything para hindi ako masaktan. Not until when Athena knew. Nalaman niya ang ginagawa namin ni Poseidon. Pero ang inaakala kong po-protektahan ako ni Poseidon, wala. He just turned his back at me. He just left me alone. Hinayaan niya lang akong maghirap at parusahan ni Athena.
