Chat Noir leaped from rooftop to rooftop, finally arriving at his destination. The Dupain-Cheng bakery. More specifically, Marinette's balcony."Good evening, Princess," He said once he landed beside the chair she sat in.
"Hello, Chat," She handed him a mug and he looked at it curiously, "It's hot chocolate."
He grinned at her, taking a big gulp of the delicious liquid. Marinette giggled at his antics, taking a sip of her own (though considerably smaller than his).
They stayed like that for a while. Drinking hot chocolate and sitting next to each other in comfortable silence. But once their mugs were empty, Chat moved closer to Marinette, resting his head on her knees. She moved her hand and placed it on his head, threading her fingers through his hair.
Chat closed his eyes in contentment, leaning into her touch and gently rubbing his cheek against her legs. He let out a low rumbling sound, and Marinette's hands stilled as she looked at him curiously.
"Did you just purr?"
"What," He shot up, "Did I?"
She nodded, giggling, as his face grew more red by the second.
"It's alright, minou," She said, placing a hand on his shoulder, "I don't mind."
He looked at her a second longer before opting to put his head back in her knees at let her continue to do what she was before.

"Hello Chat," Marinette greeted him when he arrived on her balcony for the third time that week.
"Hello, Nettie. How's my favourite Princess?"
He wrapped an arm around her shoulders and buried his face in her hair, relishing in the sound of her laugh as she pushed him away.
"Chat, be serious."
"I'm always serious, especially when you think I'm teasing."
Marinette rolled her eyes, elbowing him in the ribs lightly.
"Come on, minou," She said, pulling him over to the trap door, "I have a surprise for you."
"Ooh, I love surprises. Is it food? Hot chocolate?"
Marinette giggled, tapping his nose lightly as she said, "It's a surprise! I can't tell you."
He pouted, making his cat ears turn down in an attempt to make her feel guilty, but she knew he was only faking.
"Just come inside silly cat," She patted his head as she lead him into her room, and turned around in surprise when she heard him purr.
Chat Noir blushed, internally cursing Plagg and stupid cat like tendencies.
"Sorry," He mumbled.
"I told you before, Chaton. I don't mind," She smiled at him, a cute smile that made him want to cuddle up next to her and purr again. But he didn't. Instead, he gave her a smile of his own, following her into her room before his face erupted into a look of surprise.
There, laying on her bed, was a black hoodie with a large green paw print and "Chat Noir" written across the back.
"Marinette," He beamed at her, "This is amazing! Did you make it yourself?"
She nodded, blushing slightly at his praise, and he threw his arms around her in a hug.
"I thought you would like it," She said, "You were telling me that your patrol can be cold at times, so I thought you could use this. If you don't want it I can-"
"It's amazing! I love it, thank you Marinette."
Marinette blushed at his praise, "I actually made one for myself as well."
His eyes widened and his smile brightened, "We can be matching," He exclaimed, throwing his arms around her in a lose hug.
Marinette giggled at his enthusiasm, pushing him away to get her own hoodie. When she came back she was wearing a large black hoodie, a green paw print on the front and "Purrincess" written on the back.
"Wow," Chat breathed as she nervously twirled her hair around her finger, "You look amazing, Princess. You really are a talented designer."
"Merci, minou."
"Guess I should try this one then, huh," Chat mused, throwing the hoddie over his messy hair, "How do I look?"
He struck a ridiculous pose, one hand in his hip the other outstretched above his head. He puckered his lips, an attempt to imitate makeup ads, Marinette was sure.
She let out a laugh, watching as he joined in with her.
"You look absolutely wonderful, Chat," He looked at her curiously, having not expected her to actually compliment him, "Only because of your gorgeous sweater, though. Where did you get it?"
"Why, a friend of mine designed it herself," He said, playing along.
"Really? And who might this mysterious friend be?"
He leaned closer, his breath tickling her cheek as he whispered his response.
"I think you know, Princess."
He then jumped out through the trap door, winking at her as he left. Leaving Marinette a stunned and blushing mess in his wake.
A/N anyone catch the kotlc reference?
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this story! It was so much fun to write (I just love the idea that chat/adrien becomes more and more cat-like everyday lol), and you can never go wrong with a bit of marichat, right?
