Izuku Yagi, twin brother of Izumi Yagi. He was about to die in a dark corner of Musutafu, Japan. His life was flashing before his emerald-colored eyes while blood was leaking through the hole in his chest. In the final moments of his life, Izuku remembered the day that changed his life completely.
10 Years Ago
Inko: "Izuku, Izumi, get ready. We are going to the hospital." she asked.
Izuku/Izumi: "We are here!" the twins said together as they slowly walk down the stairs.
Inko: "Are you two excited ?" the mother asked calmly, to twins.
Izuku: "YEAH!!!" Izuku shouted with excitement.
Izuku: "When I got my quirk, I will be a hero like All Might!" he ended his words with a bright smile.
Izumi: "Let's go, mom!" Izumi said with an impatient tone.
Inko: "Okay, okay," she answered her energetic daughter.
The family got in the car and started going to the hospital for the quirk tests of the twins. After a few hours of tests, the twins are now waiting for the results to come. Their impatience was slowly overwhelming them. As soon as the nurse called their names, they both run into the doctor's room.
Doctor: "Hello Mrs.Yagi, the results of the twins are here, and I have some news. A good and bad one to be exact." the doctor said while pointing at the chairs.
Inko: "What is the good news ?" she asked.
Doctor: "Good news is your daughter has a strong telekinesis quirk." the doctor said to the mother with a happy tone.
Inko: "Do you hear that, Izumi!" Inko said to her daughter with a smile.
Izumi: "YES MOM! I will be the best hero!!" she shouted, her voice filled with happiness and relief of having a good quirk.
Then, Inko turns the doctor and asked.
Inko: "What is the bad news ?" she asked. She can imagine what the doctor might say, but she was praying on inside to be her guess was wrong.
Doctor: "Well, Mrs.Yagi. Your son Izuku is quirkless." the doctor answered the question with sadness in his voice.
Izuku: "NO!!! It can't be true! there has to be a mistake, I can't be quirkless!" shouted the boy, with a sad and denying tone. He didn't want to believe what to doctor said.
Doctor: "I am sorry, but that's the truth." the doctor said while lowering his head. He couldn't look at the boy's emerald-colored eyes.
The doctor's room was silent now. Inko and the doctor was lower their head while Izumi didn't even care about her brother's condition.
Inko: "Thanks for everything doctor. Izumi, Izuku, let's go home." said the mother of the twins with a neutral tone while getting up from her chair.
As the twins followed their mother to the car, nobody didn't even try to start a conversation. Izuku has just stayed silent for the whole ride. He was still trying to handle the pain and sorrow that came with what the doctor told him. When they arrived at their home, Izuku ignored his father and, runs straight to his room with tears running down his cheeks.
Toshinori: "I was wondering when you three will return, so what happened at the hospital ?" he asked.
Inko: "Izumi has a strong telekinesis quirk but, Izuku is quirkless." mother of the twins answered her husband's question with a little bit of sadness in her voice.
Izumi: "Did you hear it, father. I can be the best hero!" Izumi said while hugging her father with a big smile.
Toshinori: "That's great news, Izumi! so we should start training soon if you want to best! but today let's, celebrate your quirk." the father said while returning the hug to his daughter. He was so happy now. He didn't think about his son. Izumi had a great quirk, so that's enough for him.
