Chapter One

I woke up this morning to the sun rays glaring through my curtains. Everything seemed normal, except that I had this gut feeling that something that will change my life will happen. I didn't know what, where, or why, but I tried keeping my mind off of that subject. Little did I know that I would encounter a special person on this day. "Hey, Armin." I spoke to my best friend. We've known each other since we were very young and he's in a lot of my classes. "What's up?" He replied, setting down the manga he was just reading (By the way, Armin is a pretty serious Otaku). "Do you wanna come with me to the cafe for lunch?"

"I'd love to, but I have anime club at the library today. Sorry, Eren." That's right. he attends this club every other week. "It's fne," I reply, "have fun." As the bell rang, the students flooded out of the classroom and into the halls. As I had planned, I grabbed my bag and made my way to the cafe located only a few blocks away from campus.

I grumbled as I got out of my bed, sqinting from the afternoon sunlght shining through my window. Great, I overslept again. I was recently fired fro my last job because I upset my boss (aka my former partner, Erwin). Because I broke up with him, he decided to fire me so he didn't have to see my face ever again. Because of this, I've become quite depressed. My live has seemed pointless to me, for nothing good has ever come out of anything. But I can't just sit around. I got off my lazy ass to go out for some coffee at the nearby cafe.
