Ainsley sat in her flat with Evie. Ainsley knew that she was finding it all so hard since she had lost Cal. She felt like it was all impossible right now. And she knew just how much Evie missed him. "I miss daddy," Evie mumbled.

Ainsley looked to her little girl and smiled as she stroked the top of her head. "I know you do. And so does mummy," Ainsley said.

Ainsley knew that she was trying to stay strong for her kids. But it was hard.

Ainsley looked up as Sam walked in. He smiled at her. "I wanted to see how you are," he asked.

Ainsley stood up and walked into the kitchen. Sam followed her. "How do you think I am Sam? The love of my life is dead. And you know what, it's your fault," Ainsley spat.

Sam looked to her and frowned. "I didn't stab Cal," he said.

"No! But you were the one making the cuts. The reason that twisted family kicked off. And the reason that he's dead!" Ainsley spat.

Sam looked to her and sighed. He nodded. "You're upset. I get that. Look I'm sorry if you think I'm responsible. But I'm not," he said as he walked off.

Ainsley answered the door to her flat and smiled as Iain walked in with Angel who was fast asleep. "Thanks for bringing her. I missed her," Ainsley said.

Iain smiled. "You don't need to worry. Look, I'm her dad. And I'll have her anytime. I'm here for you too. You know that," Iain said.

Ainsley took Angel from him and smiled. "I know. But I'm fine. Within reason," Ainsley told him.

Iain nodded. "I know that this is a bad time. But I wanted to tell you that I met someone. And she's pregnant with my baby. She would like to meet you when you're up to it. Her name is Alexis," Iain said.

Ainsley looked to him and frowned. Not expecting to hear that. "So you're actually settling down?" She asked.

Iain smiled and nodded. "I guess so. I mean I know it isn't what I planned. Neither of us. But she's pregnant and she would like to meet you whenever you're ready," Iain said.

Ainsley smiled as she looked at her ex. She nodded. "Of course," she said.

She knew that she was happy for Iain. But she also knew it was complicated and a mess. She knew that she wanted to be happy. But she didn't know how with Cal.

Ainsley sat in bed with Angel who laid asleep next to her. She knew that everyone was moving on with their lives. She felt like they were moving on from Cal while she stayed frozen and numb.

She knew she didn't want that. She wanted revenge for Cal. And she was going to make sure that was what she got. Even though it meant she would have to turn against Sam for it.

Ainsley didn't care what it took. She wanted revenge and she wanted justice.
