A new start

Mars and Cedric were BFFS and were both strong enough to join a guild.
"hmm which guild do you think we should join?" Mars asked Cedric "I'm not sure, I'm to scared to join ones with people who are SUPER good at fighting. What if they bully me?" he replied. Mars chuckled "no one is going to bully you, but I agree."

They both kept flipping through pages looking for a guild to join.
"Hey you skipped a page!" Cedric said as he tried getting a hold of the book. "No i didn't!" Mars said while trying to get it back.
Both of them wrestled over the book.

"Give it back!"
"No!!"

Then the unexpected happened: the book flew into the fire place. "Are you kidding me?" Mars said, "We didn't even get to see the good guilds yet!"
"Ok i'll admit that was my fault..." said Cedric as he looked at the remaining papers, "But hey look there's a page left! it's a bit burnt but-" Cedric cleaned the ashes off "-We can still read it!". "huh?" Mars said as she got closer to Cedric, "fairy tail.. never heard of it"
"well then let's give it a try shall we?" Cedric exclaimed . "I guess we can.." Mars said, "but if it sucks it's all your fault!" she pouted.
"bet." Cedric smiled .

After this they searched for the location on their map they bought at a local store. They then both packed their items and headed to bed so they could get rest for the following day.

Cedric woke up to the smell of toast, "what is that" he said as he rubbed his eyes and got out of bed"
"I'm making toast" Mars said nervously.
Cedric sniffed a bit more, "Did you burn something..?" he got up and went to were the burnt smell was coming from which led to the trash bin. As he got closer he could see tons of black toasts. "Mars... why is the bin filled with burnt toast?" he said. "Well you see I was trying to make a toast but I uh got nervous" She replies while looking at her feet."
"Are you nervous for the guild?" Cedric said. "NO it's not that I just don't feel well.." she yelled. Why don't we get something to eat on the way there instead shall we?" Mars said as she pushed Cedric to the door. "But what about my bag-" Cedric tried to say but Mars threw his bags at him and told him to wait outside. Cedric walked outside wondering why Mars was so jittery.
Mars put the burnt toasts into a bag and threw them in the bin in the front yard. She quickly ran back in to try to avoid Cedric. "Ugh if only I wasn't so protective of the book! I should have just said I skipped the page because it was nothing or something, and now we're going to the guild we're I specifically told myself I don't want to go.. I'm going to have to see Gray again! No.. not after he rejected me!! I'm so embarrassed.." she cried. Sighing she took her bag and money and made her way towards the door. She sniffed the air outside "ah it no longer smells like burnt toast.."
