CHAPTER 5

T H I R D   P E R S O N' S POV

-In ZARZUELA PALACE in MADRID-

IT WAS a gloomy afternoon. A man was sitting in a swivel chair. The corners of the room were not that bright. His thoughts have been wondering. He was in a deep conversation with his mind. He had let himself calm down and think smartly. Cause he believe that if you want a proper solution, first, you must calm down and let your mind wonder and think.

It is stressing him to think that until now he can't find the person he has been looking for. No matter how much power he holds and how much money he has, still no information! He held his forehead and massage it lightly, the more he thinks about it mas lalong umiinit yung ulo niya.

There is really a saying that 'kapag hinahanap mo, hindi mo talagang makikita, pero kapag hindi mo naman hinahanap, kusa naman itong makikita.' He sighs.

He had made a deal with his only daughter and part of him regretted it now. If only he knew, but why did his daughter hid it from him?

He can still remember the words she left him. 'I'm your daughter, right? If you can protect me, then please protect him also.'

He had no choice, he really loves his daughter. She was the only one that was left with him. His wife had passed away when she had given birth to their daughter. And he had cherished his daughter like how he cherished his wife.

And now it's been a month when he had started searching for her. She's his daughter, she's quite smart and he knows she is hiding. She is hiding from him. Her father. But he knows she just somewhere out there near that man. He had made a promise that he will protect him as long as she is treated well.

Then if she not treated well by that man, he'll be one who will kill that guy. But one thing that worries him now is that her daughter is somewhere near the enemy and he can't help but be frustrated thinking that his daughter might be in danger. He thought the enemies were gone now, but it seems like they are waiting for a perfect timing.
