Running through the deep dark forest,
on a stormy winters night.
Must not let them kill me,
as i take my flight.
Hiding in a little hollow,
in a willow tree.

as silent as can be.
Awoken by the dawning sun.
Another day that i must run.
Must not let them kill me,
for the capitols fun.
Stopping for a little rest
Must survive this horrid test
must not let them kill me
Let fear in me infest
By the setting sun i pray
that ill live another day
must not let them kill me
must not become their prey
Trapped inside by my fears,
all those tribute volenteers.
Must not let them kill me
My eyes fill with tears.
