...

Dear Luigi,

I know your reading this note, because it's for you. I guess I wrote this note to express feelings that I'm too scared to say to your face. I really, really, really like you. Honestly I just can't keep you out of my mind, the way you say my name makes my heart jump. It's the little things that made me fall in love with you, like how you bite your bottom lip when your nervous or how you always hum a tune when you walk. I think the first time I realized I loved you was that time when Jr. dragged me to the Mushroom Kingdom and everyone looked at me with disgust but you held my hand which caused everyone to look away and mind their own business. I never got to thank you for that, you probably forgot but I just couldn't get the moment out of my head. The way your hand felt in my paw, it just felt... right. I hope you to see you in the garden tomorrow.

Love, Bowser

Reading that note was surprising to say the least, every time Luigi looked at it he felt butterflies in his stomach and he didn't understand why. He didn't get the same feeling when he was head over heels for Dasiy, so why did he feel this with Bowser? Luigi decided to take a walk to clear his mind and think about it all.

Luigi found himself walking towards the Mushroom Kingdom. Unlucky for him he ran into Mario.

"Hey bro, are you and Bowser a thing?"

A now flustered Luigi stared at his brother and eventually stutter out a no, but this reaction caused Mario to look at his brother skeptically.

"Bro, you know the two of you can't date, it's wrong." Mario stated plainly.

Luigi's smile dropped and he glared at Mario.

"First of all, no one tells me who I can and cannot date, especially you. Second of all we aren't even a thing."

Mario sighed "What happened Luigi? First you change your appearance completely and now you're hanging out with that menace of a koopa. It's like your an entirely different person."

"I just grew up, maybe you should try sometime." Luigi said bitterly and walked away from a now shocked Mario. He eventually found himself entering a bakery on the outskirts of town. The toad at the counter jumped as he heard the bell go off. He looked up at Luigi and smiled.

"Hello sir how can I help you?" Excitment laced the toads voice, he looked to be in his late thirty's.

"A blueberry muffin please..." Luigi paused and his mind wondered off to Jr, surely he'd be mad if didn't bring one home.

"Actually make that two." The toad nodded and got the requested muffins from the display case. He gently placed the muffins in the bag and then sealed said bag by folding.

"That'll be six coins!" Luigi reached in his pocket and handed the toad a beige pouch containing twenty coins.

"As a tip" Luigi said as he saw the visible confusion on the toad's face. Said toad's eyes widen as he registered what Luigi had said and given.

"I-I couldn't possibly take s-such a big tip!" The toad stuttered as he tried to hand the bill back to Luigi.

"No, I insist that you take it." It took some convincing but eventually the toad placed the money in the cash register and once again thanked Luigi before letting him leave. Luigi looked up at the sky and noticed how late in the day it was. He quickly made his way back the the place he now considered as a home to himself.

"Welcome back home Master Luigi" the two koopas at the gate greet Luigi with a bow.

"Connor, Marice! Haven't I told you not to call me Master." Conner relaxed more but Marice, as always, is visibly tense and constantly looking around.
