MURDER IN THE WINTER

Chapter-1

It Was a cold evening raven was just returning home, when she saw a hot dog shop. Who doesn't love hot dogs in cold winter season? Saying that she moved ahead to the shop, just as she was about to set her foot in the shop, a foul smell covered the entire street, there was that lake beside her. People called it Savon lake, that lake is always a mystery she said to herself. She stepped to the side of the lake immediately she closed her nose, she saw her reflection in water, but to top came a floating dead body. " AH! She shouted she immediately called the police, the sirens came right through and the body was taken away, the police after investigating half of the incident walked towards raven, and said " her name was elen was 21 years old and lived by the street round the corner near Alvin's shoes. " is it sir" asked raven to Mr. Thompson who was the police inspector, " I'm baffled miss raven, I found somethings on her carcass which are shocking." May I see what those are?" asked raven, "you may" said Thompson. While handing over the packet of items toward her he said " I am somehow baffled, never saw some case in which few items of gold are left on the carcass. "why is it sir?" " if this was a murder then the murderer would take all the jewels..." "so do you think this is a suicide?" " I wouldn't conclude so easily , her parents were rich and...." Thompson was interrupted by another policeman, " sir, I found out more on miss elen, and she was supposed to go to new York." " I told you miss raven we cannot conclude that it was a suicide case so quickly" said Thompson with a smile. " YOU GO TO HOME MISS RAVEN I WILL UPDATE YOU ON THE CASE IF I FIND OUT SOMETHING." LEAVING THE PLACE WHERE THERE WAS CHAOS AND POLICE SIRENS RAVEN CAME OUT AND SILENTLY WALKED TOWARD HER HOME THINKING WOULD THE CASE BE A SUCIDE OR MURDER?
