 "Sir we've found something." reported the scout"What is it?" said commander Riku"The squad 17 commander just returned with shocking news, they found a huge cavernunderground and there was a new species down there.""What!? Did they make contact?""Yes and they massacred all of them but the commander and gave him a message they said"we are the klaxosaurs and this is our domain stay away or perish"" 

The year 2046:

 "Ryuu! Ryuu come out this isn't the time for one of your stupid games! The commanders calledus for a mission." said Nao as she glared around the room, Ryuu was considering coming out ofhis hiding spot and going right as she found him behind the couch which wasn't good. Younever want Nao to find you before you give up."Ha found you and now you're coming with me" she was saying as she dragged him out acrossthe floor with a victorious expression on her face I knew what was coming next."Now you have to do my share of the chores for the rest of the week.""Alright fine." It was an unspoken rule that whenever she found me I had to do her chores for therest of the week."Now let's go the commander called us" as we walked out of the room I was saying"It's probably the same as usual some klaxosaurs made it to the surface and they want us todeal with them""Yea probably that's the only mission we ever get sent on, so predictable" when we walked inthe command center the general turned around and said"Ah yes squad 14 ive been waiting for you" he was largely built with big muscles that he likes toshow off."What's the mission this time general" I said"We just got some new intel from the scout regiment they found the base" he let that sink in for aminute " you two have been given the task of infiltrating and scouting out the base Dr. Haidercan give you the details""Sir why shouldn't one of the bigger squads handle something this important?"said Nao, herface looked as nervous as I felt this was a huge task, not something that would usually getassigned to one of the smaller squads like ours."Because it's an infiltration and stealth mission we need a smaller force and we know that yoursquad can handle it, you're both skilled enough to take out entire packs of klaxosaurs, now gotalk to the doc for the details. you're dismissed!"As we headed to the pilot deck Nao said"Well this isn't what i thought we would be doing today, not at all""I hear ya this is a lot of pressure for just two people" the mission was pretty simple: sneak intothe base, see the size of their forces and look for any hidden weapons, then get out and reportto base. When we were strapped into the full dive station I thought I doubt it will be that simplethen the machine started. It was always a weird feeling using the full dive system, you had tohave complete trust in your partner when your minds merged together and then yourconsciousness was placed into the Jaeger that was the weirdest part trying to move your bodyand instead moving a giant robot. In our case I was in charge of the legs, head, and defensivetech while Nao was incharge of the arms, torso, and attack tech. As we headed toward thecoordinates the doc gave us i took in the scenery, it impressed my no matter how many times icame down here, It was all so, blue was the only word that came to mind the giant fluorescentmushrooms with their glowing blue spores lit up the huge cavernous world where the sun didn'treach. Once we reached the base it was time for the mission to begin."Activating stealth barrier" I reported"Switching to stun mode" said Nao we went around to the back to look for an opening whichwasn't to hard as the giant building was covered with windows and balconies Nao switched onthe jetpack and flew us up to a balcony we snuck inside and couldn't believe what we saw ahuge force of klaxosaurs, thousands of them all preparing for battle."Oh no" i said in an awe struck whisper"They're preparing for a raid," Nao whispered and I could hear the fear in her voice. Theklaxosaurs had only ever raided us once before and it was a massacre."We need to get back and report this right away" we snuck back to the balcony and headed atmax speed toward the docking bay. As soon as we docked we disengaged our dive and ran forthe command bay and we bursted into the room gasping trying to catch our breath the doc andthe general were both in there and turned to us looking surprised"Mind telling me why your barging into my room looking like you've seen a ghost and run a mile"The klaxosaurs" I said panting "there preparing for a raid" the general froze at that."We need to prepare all the defences" Nao said"Yes' ' said the general as he pressed the button for his intercom "all troops to defencivepositions on the double' ' no more than five muinets after the announcement the alarm startedblaring. I looked at my partner and said"They're here"."That was faster than expected" I said as we ran to the docking bay"They must have followed us" Nao was saying as she jumped into her seat. We started up themachine and as soon as we were loaded in we ran out onto the battlefield. It was chaotic with allthe squads from ones with 2 Jaegers to ones with 10, we were the smallest squad, the onlyteam with just one. We rushed out there, Nao firing missiles and swinging our giant speararound while I moved us around and handled the barriers. As we pulled our spear out of thebody of a klaxosaur the intercom crackled to life with the generals booming voice"Squad 14, squad 6 is being overwhelmed and needs backup""On it" we said in sync I diverted more power to the legs than shields and sprinted over there asfast as I could, counting on Nao to keep the Klaxosaurs off us. When we arrived we say that the4 jaegers in squad 6 were hopelessly outnumbered, I put the power back to normal in theshields and ran into the fray. As we were running Nao was preparing the thing that made ourJaeger different from the rest, the plasma spear and just as we got into the fighting, it wasready."Activate plasma spear!" we both yelled as the plasma energy surged into our spear making ittwice as powerful as before and granting it the ability to shoot plasma beams. We took out allthe small ones that were climbing up our allies first and then fired off a plasma beam that tookout all the ones around them. Nao activated the jet pack and we flew up to look for a large groupand survey the battlefield. We saw that there was only one more large group left."Let the other squads deal with the stragglers." Nao said"Right" I agreed and we flew at top speed towards the big group. We landed and started mowingdown their numbers, when we fired of one last plasma beam that had drained all of our plasmaenergy we looked around and realised there weren't any left"We won" I said in disbelief "we actually won""Yeah" agreed Nao "we really beat all of them"."I know this is sudden and you just finished fighting but we have a urgent task we needyou two to do" said the general, he had called into his office right after the fight"Once your Jaeger is refueled we need you two to go and destroy the queen""WHAT!" I exclaimed"That's insane!" Nao added"Now is the perfect time now that we just destroyed the majority of their army there defencewon't be as tough to get through and the queen will be at her most vulnerable""Alright, I guess that makes sense" I reluctantly agreed"Alright then go get ready and remember don't let your guard down there may be barely anyguards but the queen herself is very dangerous""Yes sir" we said as we walked out. On our way to the enemy base I said"We didn't have time to completely recharge the plasma reserve so we only have enough forone plasma beam the we should save for the killing blow""Right" Nao said "we'll create an opening and then fire a plasma beam straight into her head"At the base there were no guards; it looked like the general's prediction was right. It wasn't hardto find the queens chambers the doors were huge and bejeweled we pushed them open andwalked in, as soon as we walked in a huge tail came slamming down and we rolled out of theway just in time to avoid being crushed we switched to combat mode and flew up. The queenwas huge, she took up half the room and she had massive claws and a tail. We flew out of theway as she swung her massive claws at us and started for the head but a giant tail camup in ourway we swerved to get around it using our spear to slash at it it went limp and we got passed Ihad to divert more power to the jetpack to avoid getting smashed by the clawswe shot throughan opening and went right up to the ceiling and diverted all power to the jetpack as we flew fullspeed towards the top of the head and we shouted."Activate Plasma Spear!!" and jammed it into her head and fired the plasma beam. The glowingplasma energy went through her entire body and she started collapsing, taking the wholebuilding with her. We flew out dodging falling debris and just barely made it back to base withthe last of our fuel. We had finally defeated the Klaxosaurs and we had made it out alive.The End
