Chapter 16

Both Richard and Naomi walk out of their room to join their family, he finds the house silent making him frown so walking towards the living room he finds it empty.

"Did they got kidnapped while we were taking a nap?" Naomi asks curiously looking around while Richard pulls his phone out, he calls his mother first.

"Mom, where are you?" he asks as the phone gets connected.

"Oh, okay, sure" he speaks before the call disconnects.

"What?" Naomi asks as she goes to sit on the sofa.

"My brothers and Gabby are at office. Mom and dad have gone out for some grocery shopping, they will be having lunch out" he informs and Naomi nods.

"So, we are all alone in the house?" she asks and he nods before he sits beside her.

"There are not any cameras in the house, yeah?" she asks as she puts her hand on his shoulder.

"Cameras?" he frowns in confusion.

"Well, because I don't want to get caught doing dirty with you by your parents at the first day" she giggles making him shake his head as he grabs the remote and checks few channels.

Lazing around the house, both the couple just lay on the sofa as their eyes set on the TV watching the movie playing. Richard spoons Naomi, dropping a kiss at the back of her head he sighs holding her close.

Turning in his arms Naomi smiles staring at his face and he chuckles as he bites on the tip of her nose as she giggles. A song playing at the background makes them both glance at the TV as they stay still hearing it.

The song ends making them once again stare at each other.

"Nice song" Naomi points and Richard nods in agreement.

"So, about our planned wedding" she begins.

"What about it?" he asks as he nuzzles their nose.

"I am sure mom will want to throw the wedding in our place" she points and he hums.

"So, will be it okay with you all?" she worries making him sigh.

"None of us will have a problem, as long as all we have to do is get dressed and show up. I am sure mom will be delighted as long as she gets to be part of the wedding preparation. But, you sure we can do it at your place? I mean what about Lucero" he asks.

"I know a way to handle them to chill, just wanted to confirm with you"

"It's your wedding firefly, however you chose, wherever you decide I will show up" he agrees.

"It's our wedding, sweets" she corrects and he smiles.

"I am not sitting through the cake tasting and flowers selections" he warns making her grin and bite on his jaw.

"Bachelor's party?" she enquires.

"We don't need one, we are already married, check your left hand to remember if you forgot" he sighs as he pulls her in his arms but she puts her hand on his chest to push away a bit.

"Your loss because I am having one" she informs and he just closes his eyes laying quietly and she shakes him a bit to get an answer.

"No strippers, that's the only rule" he replies.

"And no getting a bad hangover" she grins.

"No going home with strangers"

"No flirting or replying to a flirt"
