Errorberry fic from last year since I've barely touched this acc in over a year

(Both of them are written as humans btw I'm shit at writing non humans) (this probably sucks ass and I don't like it at all Error's haphephobia is written horribly but it's better than most of the other things I've posted here)

"What are you doing, Blue?" Error asked his boyfriend, well aware of what he was doing.

"OH MY GOD LOOK AT THE PRETTY BIIIIRD!"

"Yes, I can see them."

"CAN WE KE-"

"No, we can't keep them. We have seven other pets at home."

"But sweetie," Blue protested, clearly persistent "we don't have a bird yet!"

Error looked him in the eye, clearly unamused "That's because we have four cats. What if one of them harms the bird?"

Blue playfully rolled his eyes in response. He, unlike his partner, thought this conversation was amusing, mostly because it happened fairly often.

"No they won't, you just favour cats because you act like one so much!" He grinned. Error's face went red, as he searched his mind for a valid argument against the cat statement.

"No I don't, and yes they will! Cats are cute, hate almost everybody, cause destruction, and get entertained by the weirdest things!" He argued, covering up his blushing face with his scarf.

"Error, you're cute, you hate almost everyone, destroy universes, and watch Undernovela. All of the things you used to describe cats also describe you."

"Bu-but-" Error stuttered, fiddling with his hair "but Undernovela isn't weird! It has a great plot!"

"Plot? Honey, that so-called "plot" is basically Home and Away except it's in Spanish. Look, if I get a cat instead, will you be fine with it?"

"... Mmmmmaybe..." Error glanced away, avoiding eye contact.

"We don't have to get anything. We could just go to McDonald's or something and go home." Blue told him, making sure to grab his sleeve instead of his hand. Error was still getting used to trying to deal with his Haphephobia, but Blue wanted him to feel comfortable in this relationship.

"No, lets get a cat tonight."

And so they lived happily ever after with their five cats, two dogs, and one goldfish.
