Cherry Blossoms and Forget-me-nots (Prucan)

Chapter 1

Gilbert had always hated summer camps; he had always thought they were completely boring and un-awesome, unlike himself who was completely awesome. But as his grandfather insisted he had to go and take his brother Ludwig with him. He didn't understand why his grandfather was making him go while he was on a long distance work trip when both him and ludwig were in high school and could take care of themselves. It's not like they would break the house while he was gone or set the couch on fire....which would be kind of awesome though. They exited their grandfathers car and stood by the bus stop waiting to board. "Opa! Why do we have to do this? I'm 17 and Ludwig is 16 we are old enough to stay home by ourselves! Please Opa let us stay home..." Gilbert whined desperately trying to persuade his grandfather. Ludwig replied with a sigh, "Gil just give it up.." Ludwig looked less pleased than Gilbert with this situation but he knew better than to complain. Their grandfather turned and pointed to the oncoming bus and simply smiled wishing them luck before reentering his car and heading off. Gilbert then groaned as loud and as dramatically as he could "This BLOOWWSS!!!!!" Ludwig simply rolled his eyes and then boarded the bus with his brother.
