*Nighttime*

-Jungkook's POV-

We went to the airport alongside our staff, and then they left us on the flight's room before saying goodbye to us. The departure took place an hour after staying alone with Taehyung, and even though there were many fans at the airport, we didn't miss the chance to greet them before leaving. Shortly after, we entered the flight, took our seats, and waited for the departure. Taehyung began to take photos of us and me. It was encouraging to see him smiling so much again; after all, I waited for this moment once our problems covered the days with grey clouds.

Right now, the night has arrived after taking our flight to New York. Taehyung liked Yoongi's idea so much that he asked me permission to travel to this city. Honestly, I got stunned after seeing how Yoongi worried about Taehyung's happiness; after all, I thought he wouldn't respect my decision to try something new with our teammate. Nevertheless, I'm grateful that Yoongi didn't oppose and decided to help us out.

As I'm drawing on my sketchbook, I heard soft mumbling coming from my side. Immediately, I turned around and noticed that Taehyung slept while reading a book. I slightly chuckled, shortly putting my pencil down. I covered Taehyung's body with a blanket since it's getting colder, then taking away his book and placing it inside his bag. I took a quick look at the interior, briefly noticing Taehyung's camera.

-You used to take photos all the time. But when the problems took over your life, nothing was the same. – I murmured while caressing Taehyung's hair strands. -I suppose this trip is like a new beginning for us. Right? – I questioned underneath my breath, slightly smiling while watching Taehyung sleep.

I sighed before returning to my drawing. But before I could pick up the pencil, I felt Taehyung's hand on my arm, which made me glance at him once again. A happy smile appeared on my face as soon as Taehyung's sleepy expression landed on my eyes. It looks like he's a small kid, pouting to his parents for attention.

-What is it? – I softly asked.

-Do you agree with this trip? – Taehyung suddenly questioned.

-Of course! It was an idea that we had together. – I reminded Taehyung before grabbing my pencil and continued drawing. -Why are you asking? – I said, confused.

-It was an unplanned idea; we didn't even know where to go, and that situation got me thinking. – Taehyung admitted before closing his eyes.

-Tae, it's alright. We needed an escape from all of our struggles at home, and the company also asked us to travel somewhere else. So, think about other things just like the activities we'll do after landing. – I told Taehyung before looking at the drawing, then closing the sketchbook and putting it inside my bag.

Vast progress for tonight. Now, I must sleep before landing in New York.

-I guess you are right. – Taehyung murmured before sighing, instantly finding warmth against the blanket.

-Hey, why did you wake up? Hmm? – I curiously questioned while looking at Taehyung.

-I heard you mumbling some words, and I woke up to see if it was my imagination. – Taehyung explained, causing me to chuckle slightly.

-Sorry, but I took your book away and covered you up. It's getting colder in here, and I don't want you to feel ill before landing. – I disclosed, which Taehyung nodded for in response.

-Thank you. I didn't notice I fell asleep; I suppose my argument with Jodie took all my energy away. – Taehyung spoke, suddenly looking slightly solemn.

-Do you still worry about Jimin-hyung? – I asked.

-Yes. Not as much as before, though. Honestly, it felt pretty awful to confront Jodie in front of everybody. She looked like the villain when in reality, she's also trying to get through many things. I only lost control over my impulses because Jodie couldn't stop attacking you. – Taehyung declared, making me realize that he had many things inside his mind.

Nobody let Taehyung explain his emotions after the confrontation with Jodie. So, I'm guessing that he has several things to say about the matter.

-The brighter part is that Jodie already understood your point. – I mentioned trying to keep Taehyung positive for our future encounter with his sister.

-I suppose that's right, but Jimin-hyung might have many questions after hearing what I said. – Taehyung worriedly spoke before looking back at me. -Jungkook, do you honestly believe Jimin and Jodie are all right? – Taehyung questioned.

-I told you before, Tae. Nothing happened; Jodie only spoke with Jimin-hyung about the situation that occurred. And when I spoke with J, she seemed worried about us more than anything. – I pointed out, hoping to calm Taehyung's concerns.

-It took my sister time to realize that her actions weren't showing her genuine intentions. – Taehyung said before caressing the side of my head, slightly smiling at me.

-What? – I softly asked while staring back at Taehyung.

-Before we sleep, I wanted to ask you something. – Taehyung spoke before getting comfortable in his seat. -After we ran away from the hectic situation with Jodie, both of us entered my bedroom and suddenly heard Yoongi-hyung defending us. I saw your reaction, Kookie. You were genuinely surprised. – Taehyung disclosed, which made me feel slightly awkward.

I caressed the back of my head while looking away from Taehyung. -I thought that Yoongi wouldn't support our relationship. Despite his kind gestures between the both of us, I kept believing that Yoongi only wanted us to be happy, but individually. – I admitted, slightly embarrassed since I doubted someone so close to us.

-Honestly, Yoongi-hyung is an unpredictable person. So, at first, I also thought the same thing until he began to help me more. – Taehyung disclosed before chuckling slightly. -I even believed that he wanted to take you back. – My partner admitted, causing me to laugh at his comment.

-No, that can't happen, Tae. We talked about our emotions one day you weren't at the dorms, and after that chat, we both noticed that our chapter ended. – I explained before holding Taehyung's hand. He looked at our grip before smiling, then caressing the top with his thumb.

-I'm glad you left the past behind, and now you can talk about it without struggles. – Taehyung sincerely said before clearing his throat. -But I'm still trying to let go of some things. After I argued with Jodie, I began to think about those days again. – Taehyung admitted before closing his eyes, his exhaustion begging him to sleep.

-Hey, for now, don't think about it. Okay? We'll get through everything together as always. It'll be better if you get some sleep before we arrive in New York. – I told Taehyung, who nodded in response, already falling asleep as I talk.

-Sleep well, Jungkook. – Taehyung sleepily mumbled.

-Night, Tae. – I smiled before kissing his head, briefly turning off the lights of our seats. Then, I returned my focus to Taehyung while grasping some sleep.

Even though I'm aware of the thoughts you are keeping to yourself, I promise to help you out again. I want you to enjoy life and the things you currently have, but I guess there are still some things that you need to forget to move on.
