hello! my name is teklarn <3 please read this! it's very important!
if you look at my profile, you'll notice that there is another story (under another shitty cover) under the same silly name as this book!
that is because i've chosen to re-write all my stories for the various reasons:
- MENTAL HEALTH - i wrote those stories when i was around 11/12, and at that age i was misinformed on the realities of mental health and how to accurately represent it. looking back on those stories, i sound rly stupid like it sounds like a 12yr/old wrote that bs, and so i wanted to cut major parts of those books because i didn't accurately represent such sensitive matters and it feels wrong to not try to fix it now!
*if those stories ever made anyone uncomfortable, i would gladly take them down, however i've kept them up because i've grown sentimental about something that was such a big achievement for me at the time
- CHARACTERS: my writing style has improved a lot! and my character development wasn't the greatest back then. y/n i find was annoying, the characters all LIVED by a certain stereotype and never grew out of it, etc.
- SENSITIVE TOPICS: my books dealt a whole lot with death. while writing angst is still one of my absolute favorite things to write about, i know how to do it better now. idk but i also found there are moments that just seem very ignorant and insensitive to important matters, and i was so misinformed and naive back then and looking back i just cringe so hard.
- PLOT: while the original ideas of the plot had potential, they always got swooped up by something different and something angsty or stupid or cheap. the way i plot my stories is a lot stronger than it used to be, and so i'd be cutting a big few chunks (more than, probably) out of the original plots and just using the basic outline for these books, as well as the same title.
i hope these things make sense, and i hope that i can fix my misinterpretations and write a better book! thank you all so much!
