Do you know how it feels to meet an old friend after years of being separated? That's how I feel everytime I watch them. Isn't it weird? Because I don't even have friends in the first place.

My vision became blurry as I face the floor. This it the second time she did this. I cannot contain myself anymore so I rushed into her room.

"Ma! What did you do to my albums?" I asked, calmly.

"Nakita mo naman 'di ba?"

"What I meant is, why did you tear them up? I didn't ask for money or anything! I saved each cent that I spent on my merchandise!"

"Did you just raise your voice on me?"

"I did, Ma!" and there, she slapped me.

I smirked, you can call me disrespectful all you want, but I really despise what she did.

"Galing ako sa university mo because I was supposed to fetch you. Turns out, half day lang pala kayo?"

Yumuko ako at hindi na umimik, alam ko na kung saan papunta ang usapan na ito. Here we go again.

"It is the day of your card issuance and yet you didn't inform me! I know the reason why so don't you dare raise your voice again. You should be ashamed of yourself!" nanlilisik ang mga mata niya, gusto ko nalang tumakbo.

"I didn't tell you because I know you'll react like this. You even destroyed my source of happiness."

"Happiness? You must be really crazy! Get out of my sight! Do not come in front of me until you pull yourself together!"

How far can she go? Is she really mad because of my grades? I saw them. They're not the best, but they definitely improved. I had a failing grade last semester but now, I have none.

"Why are you like this to me? For all I know, this is not just about my grades. If someone has to pull herself together, I think it's not me. Perhaps, it's you." I garnered every strength left in me and slammed the door.

Out of all the children out there, I am the lucky one to have a supportive mother. Just note the sarcasm.

"Hey." I raised my head and saw a familiar face. It's him again.

"My mother cut my boyfriend's neck." without any word, he sat beside me, getting ready to hear my endless complaints.
