"papa!!!!"i screamed for my father who's office is right across my room, he rushed in the room looking around for danger but he composed himself once he made sure I'm safe

"Sigh* Natrix how many times have i told you not to scream unless you're in danger you got me all worried" papa said picking the 3 years old me up on his arms

"Sorry papa i won't do it again" i smiled at him

"You little liar, you say that but you still do it again" papa booped my nose

"Papa let's go for a walk in the garden i heard that the black roses bloomed can we go please" i looked up at him giving him the best puppy dog eyes that i can do

"Fine, how can I refuse my beloved daughter" he kissed me on the cheek, we headed to the garden and encountered papa's big brother the crown prince Anestesius de Alger Obelia

"Hello Natrix, where are you two heading?" Uncle Anestesius asked

"Hello uncle we were just going to the garden because the black roses bloomed"

"Then i won't hold you any longer bye Natrix"

"Bye-bye"

A 2 years passed and I'm turning 6 on winter but things changed in the past 2 years papa killed uncle Anestesius and became emperor but when he met mommy Diana everything changed papa would forget me or purposely ignores me it's like he is a different person 3 more days and it's my birthday and i just wanted to spend the whole day with papa so i went to his office ever since he met mommy daina i was not allowed to bardge in his office as i wish and he even moved me to the ruby palace, i knocked on the door and heard a faint " come in" so i did he looked up from his paperwork and looked back at it

"What do you want?" He asked coldly

"Papa since it's almost my birthday i was thinking instead of celebrating it we should spend the whole day together just you and me" i beamed at him

"For the last time no even if it's your birthday i don't care you are just a nuisance from a one night stand, get out of my face" he said not looking at me once, i was speechless i had nothing to say so i just left, I've locked myself in my room for hours refusing to talk to any one crying my eyes out till i can't cry anymore
Then his words repeated in my head "what if I am a nuisance maybe i should leave would that make papa happy?" I asked myself but without much thought about it and snuck out in the middle of the night, took a boat to take me to the neighboring kingdom the eastern empire i had to go to an orphanage after i told someone that i don't know where i am and i don't have parents they welcomed me with warmth and hugs 'i guess this is how my life is now'

It's been a week since i seen the kid that kept pestering me to spend the time together then i passed a familiar door but i can't put my finger to it so i entered it out of curiosity when i entered it it was a library that is full if portraits of me and that kid i went to see what kind of books there were until i saw a small box on the study table i went ahead and opened it and it was filled with letters when i opened one of the letters i read through the messy writing it gave me a smile it made my day the letter said
'Dear papa you are the best papa i could ever ask for,papa is not only handsome he is also very strong that he can save me from a big monster, papa always takes good care of me when I'm sick papa would spend the whole day with me and spoil me with lots of love, kisses and hugs i love you papa

He looked up to the portrait right in front of him it was the time Natrix climbed on his shoulder then it hit him hard, he recalled the things he had done to her for a year and a half and he said those words to her last week this time he knew he blew everything up,he ran all the way to ruby palace just to find the maids panicked
