I bet on raindrops racing down my window today,
Mine lost as always
But that doesn't mean I won't bet again tomorrow.
I always choose the loosing team,
They represent the truest me.I never really liked a rainy day;
I hate being brushed by a wet body,
I hate when the water seeps through.
I hate the colourful raincoats
And being reminded to carry an umbrellas,
Well maybe I like the reminders a little.I never liked a rainy day,
But the day after is bliss;
The air frsh and cold,
Breeze flirting with my skin.
On days like this,
I don't feel the need to dream.I never really liked a rainy day,
When it rained on my way back,
I'd not bother with shelter,
I'd slowly walk, being drenched,
Knowing I'd hate the wet feeling later.I never really liked a rainy day
But I loved the stormy skies
And the thunderous screams,
As if the sky was speaking for me.
When the thunder gets louder than my thoughts,
I feel heard.I never really liked a rainy day
But I like the way it makes me feel.
