𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐥?

𝐖hen did we fail?
To the tunes to which she dances
Are the ones that he has learned to hate
Once, when the looks were full of love,
Now turn to angry glances.

The ballads which she sings
Become his songs of fury

Do you not wish happiness in your life?

No, I only wish for glory.

And perhaps this was one of the many mistakes
The king of gods made
Because no, they did not fail,
But still, there was a price to be paid.

And so, the goddess of marriage,
Sat alone on her throne in Olympus
Blessing mortals with a happy life,
Yet the only marriage she could not save was hers.
