Arriving to Hogwarts - Chapter 1

Your POV: 

Oh my gosh, I cannot believe it! I'm going to Hogwarts for my last year! I am so excited! I missed the school so much, I missed the halls, the classrooms, quidditch matches, friends, classmates and above all, I missed Snape, my potions professor. I've had a crush on him for a while now, I believe it's somewhere near 3 years. I started to fancy him in 4th year, when I grew up a bit. Before that, I was just an innocent little girl, who didn't care for boys one bit. But then one day, I spotted how handsome  Snape was anddddd.... well, you can imagine how things went from there. I never stopped liking him. Once you fall in love with Snape, there's no turning back. 

I think he likes me too. Not like "that", but as a student. I'm very good at potions, and I always have the best grade in the class. I really enjoy potion-making, maybe even because of him (oopsies). No, but seriously, I'd love to be a potion master one day. I absolutely love teaching and helping kids!

- Timeskip- 

I was so excited as I was walking to the station. I missed the train. I missed everything about the Wizarding world. I couldn't wait to get back to Hogwarts. Well, we are  actually almost there, I think we have a half an hour with the train left. Holy moly am I happy!

- Timeskip again- 

I came into the Great hall with a BIG smile on my face. I was happy again. This is my place. This is my home. I was sad that I only have a year left. I don't want to go back to my parents. They don't treat me very good. They're always mean, and they always insult me, so I'm quite sensitive. Anyways, I sat down to my fellow Gryffindor table and started looking around the Great hall. My eyes were searching across the big room, looking for one specific person. Snape. And they found him. We took a glance at each other and I felt something beautiful again. Something that has "dissappeared" during the summer but is now coming back. I felt my feelings for him just bursting back up onto the surface. I seriously love that man huh? Well, too bad I don't stand a chance with him. He's a teacher, and well I... am a student, after all. 

The sorting ceremony was done before I realized. It was now time for Dumbledore's speech. He stood up and began talking: "Welcome, to another year at Hogwarts. Hope you're all doing well. This year brings us many changes, starting with the changes of professors studying certain subjects. As you may know, your last year professor for DADA (Defence against the dark arts) retired, so professor Severus Snape will be taking that position. He'll still be teaching potions as well. Give him a round of applause." 

I started clapping so hard the whole castle could hear me. No one was surprised tho, they all knew Snape was my favorite teacher. I took a glance at him again and I saw that he was smirking a bit. He must've felt nice, since he finally got the job he's been wanting for so long. I was happy for him. And for me, that meant I'll get to see him more. 

After Albus annouced that Snape'd be taking the DADA position, I didn't listen to him anymore. He caught my attention at the end of his speech. He said that he decided to make a big change for all our houses. Our Heads of houses were being switched for this year! Apparently Dumbledore wants to see how we cope with different instructions and that kind of stuff. Oh lord please, let the Gryffindor Head of house be Snape, please! 

As soon as I thought of that, it came true. Albus annouced Snape is our Head of house for this year. OMG! The first day of the year couldn't have started any better. With this information, Albus' speech was done, and we began to enjoy our feast. During the feast, I couldn't help but look in Snape's direction. He's just so cute, I literally cannot. He was talking to Dumbledore for the majority of the feast, and it seemed like they were talking about our table. They kept looking in our direction. 

By the time I had finished eating, the hall was almost empty. Only a few students were still sitting and eating. Snape and Dumbledore were still there too, and I was almost certain they were waiting to see when I'd leave. I finally got up, I've eaten enough, and then I saw them walking towards me. I was so confused. What are they going to ask me?

"Hello Miss (y/n). How are you on this wonderful first day?" asked Albus. 

"I'm really good, thank you, and you?" I replied. 

"I'm doing well Miss (y/n), thanks for asking. Well, Severus, shall we get to the point?" asked Albus. 

"Yes, we shall. So Miss (y/ln), I heard you want to become a professor. A potion master, for that matter, is that correct?" asked Snape. 

"Yes professor, that is, indeed very correct. Why do you ask, if I may know?"  I replied, visibly confused. 

"Well, me and Albus  have an offer for you. I'd like to know if you'd be interested in being my potions assistant this year, since it's your last?" asked Snape. 

SERIOUSLY? SEVERUS SNAPE IS ASKING ME TO BE HIS ASSISTANT?? I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS! 

"Of course, I'd love to! It's such an honor to be taught by you professor, so I'd absolutely love to work with you too!" I almost screamed. 

"Very well then. Come to my office at 8pm tonight, and we shall discuss the details." said Snape with a  calm, warm voice. HE WAS SMIRKING! I could SWEAR he was HAPPY. 

SNAPE WAS HAPPY BECAUSE I ACCEPTED TO BE HIS ASSISTANT! THIS. IS. UNREAL. 

I looked at Snape and nodded, showing him that I had agreed with the meeting. He then nodded at me and Albus, as a sign of  "Bye" and left. Then, Albus spoke again: "Congrats, Miss (y/n), earning Severus' assistant spot isn't easy. He must really like you. Anyways, I have one more annoucement to make. I've made you Head girl for this year. Since your HOTH (Head of the house) is Snape now, this means you'll be discussing this topic and more others with him as well. You're going to have to spend quite some time with him this year. But I'm sure that doesn't bother you Miss (y/n), am I correct?" 

"Of course it doesn't bother me. I love spending time with professor Snape, I think he's an amazing teacher." I replied, and blushed a little. 

"I see, I see, very well then. I think he'd say you're an amazing student too (y/n). Good luck." he said, then smirked, winked at me and left. 

HOLY SHIT. WHAT JUST HAPPENED? WAS DUMBLEDORE TEASING ME ABOUT SNAPE? DOES HE KNOW? OMG. NO, NO, NO HE CAN'T KNOW, IT MUST'VE BEEN A COINCIDENCE. OR NOT? SHEESH I DON'T- UGH WHATEVER. 

I went to my dorm, I was so happy. I had to prepare for my first private meeting with Snape.
