"I decided to go to the mall to get some ingredients, parang gusto ko kasi itry ung ginawa ni Tita Mozzy na lemon squares, nag crave ako, then I need to see Pat. But I couldn't get out because nga coding ako, tamang tama Kuya doesn't have plans so I borrowed his car. On my way to the mall, napansin ko si Jigs pumasok sa flower shop, so I stopped by and parked nearby but he was in a hurry, ang bilis nya, Thirds, as if he was already late for something."

"Hindi mo naman naisip na baka for a family member or yours?"

"Wala kami usapan to meet. I know he said something like he will be busy."

"So nacurious ka kaya sinundan mo? Hindi mo ba inisip, it might be for you, he wanted to surprise you?"

Napaisip si Bea.

"No. I remember, iba ung kabog ng dibdib ko when I saw him get out of the shop, in a hurry, with a bunch of flowers."

"Kaya mo sinundan?"

"I guess so. Tapos, it was crazy kasi his way wasn't towards our house so I just followed him. I swear, Thirds, I tried to control my thinking, kung ano ano iniisip ko just to calm myself. I wanted to turn back pero alam mo un, there was something that is telling me to just follow him."

"And you found yourself sa condo ni Julia?"

"You know, I felt funny for awhile. I didn't know ganun sila kaclose so at first hindi ko inisip that he was headed to Julia's unit, baka lang kasi same condo different unit. Ilang minutes pa bago ako nakarating sa unit but I swear I saw Jigs with those flowers, sa harap ng unit ni Julia."

"Bakit dika lumapit agad?"

"I was undecided on what to do until I decided to watch."

"O tapos?"

Bea looked at Thirdy.

"Julia came out of the unit in her skimpy shorts and spaghetti strapped dress, I saw her kissed Jigs, at alam mo ba kung saan?"

"Sa labi?"

"Dude, they smooched for like, what, 5 minutes?"

Nakatingin lang si Thirdy kay Bea while she was recollecting what she saw a few hours ago, in between sobs. He was making sure Bea doesn't breakdown.

"Don't you think that was enough proof para lumapit ka sa kanila at least?" Thirdy asked her.

"No, I just watched, more like, shocked, dina ako nakagalaw. Then Jigs gave her the flowers and she hugged him then went inside the unit."

"Okay." Thirdy said as he was trying to digest Bea's story.

"I swear, Thirdy."

He didn't have to think if Bea was telling him the truth or not because he knows, Bea and her have been friends for a long time, kilala na nila bawa't kilos at galaw ng isa't isa.

He noticed, Bea was drinking more and more sa kada kwento nya, sa kada kwento na lumalabas sa bibig nya, it's starting to break her and he can't afford to make himself break down.

Sige pa din ng daldal si Bea, kung ano ano sinasabi but still made sense.

"Fuck, Thirdy, are we marrying those people? Seriously? Kelan pa sila naging ganun ka close. I mean, ni hindi nga kita hinalikan sa labi ni minsan, diba? Tapos sila, damn, that's not friendship."

Thirdy was cross, hindi din nya alam kung ano gagawin nya but he will definitely talk to Julia about today. Walang call or text si Julia sa kanya, wala din paramdam si Jigs kay Bea.

Maya maya lang naramdaman nya may yapak na dumaan sa labas ng kwarto nya, panigurado if it wasn't Ate Ly, si Kuya Kief un.

"Dyan ka muna, anjan na ata sila Ate Ly."

"Baka gusto nila sumali sa atin, tara sa labas na tayo." Bea told him.

Thirdy can sense na tinamaan na si Bea, talagang mas makulit na sya.

"Pagod mga un, dyan ka na lang at ako na lalabas. Magdinner na din tayo papa ayos na ako kay Yaya Mags ng pagkain."

Paglabas nya, andun na din buong pamilya nya maliban kay Dani. Nasa dining na Mama at Papa nya, nakapwesto naghihintay sa pagkain.

"Kuya, andito ka na pala, kanina ka pa?" Tanong ng Mama nya.

"Opo, kasama ko si Bea."

"O pababain mo na para makakain na tayo, pababa na din sila Kief." Sabi ng Papa nya.

When Thirdy went back to his room, he saw Bea already sleeping, he tried to call for her attention but she looks really drunk kaya pinabayaan na nya at bumalik na sya sa dining.

"Tulog na ang pobre haha. Baka mamayang madaling araw manggigising yan sa gutom." Thirdy told them.

"Kanina pa ba kayo?" His Papa asked.

"Medyo po."

"Si Julia ba, Kuya, hindi ba pupunta? I've been trying to call her, diko macontact eh."

Bea's stories started to flashback in his mind.

"Di pa kami nagusap today eh, what about ba?" Thirdy asked.

"Ung planner ng friend ko may pinakita sa akin na invitation eh, I think that will be perfect para sa motiff ng kasal nyo and I wanted to show her."

Thirdy took his phone out and dialled Julia's number.

Subscriber cannot be reached.

"Can't be reached eh, baka busy."

"Sobrang tutok din si Julia sa kasal nyo noh. Sila Bea kamusta wedding preparation nila ni Jigs?" His Mama asked.

"May food tasting ata sya next week. Ngapala, Ma, may iconsult ako sa inyo ni Ate Ly mamaya." Thirdy began.

"About married life? About Julia? Ayan Papa mo ang daming time."

"Hahaha woman thing, Ma!" Thirdy said.

"Sige pagkatapos na kumain ni Ate Ly mo. Nakatulog na ata mga un dina bumaba."
