"Ma'am," Sunoo called nervously.
I looked at him and saw how he fumbled with his fingers, "Is he here again?"
He nodded, "I'm so sorry, ma'am. I really tried to not let him in but Sir Jay—"
"It's alright, honey. It isn't your fault." I sighed and went straight to Jay's office knowing that someone else is in mine.
"Seriously?!" I opened Jay's door and he quickly smiled innocently at me.
"What can I do for you, dear?"
I rolled my eyes at him, "Don't 'dear' me. For an entire week, you keep letting him in my office!"
"And you keep kicking him out!" He shrugged.
"Of course I would. Need I remind you, I do not want to see him." I sighed and took a seat on his couch.
"Why?"
I looked at him in disbelief. He was typing away on his work computer as if nothing is even happening, "What do you mean 'why', he left me, remember? He left us, without any explanation, without any trace."
I stood up and sat on the chair beside his desk. "And if that is not enough for you, I had to go through therapy because of how broken he made me."
He looked at me for a moment. He knows what I went through, he was the one with me, "You guys need to talk."
I snapped as he said that, "There is nothing to talk about!"
"You're just afraid," I paused as he spoke, "you are aren't you?"
I couldn't speak, I was just looking at him, "You're afraid that once you see him, once he says sorry, you'd be back in his arms in no time."
He looked at me intently, trying to read the emotions in my eyes.
"I know you, Lumi. You love him." A tug in my heart came, "And you'd do anything to have him back."
"Even if you think it wrong."
I closed my eyes as his words hit me.
"But sometimes, it isn't wrong to do so, Lumi." He held my hand that was placed above his desk and gave it a firm yet gentle squeeze, "It isn't wrong to love him still, it isn't wrong to forgive him."
"It isn't wrong to start again."

Every day for the past two weeks, Sunghoon kept visiting my office. He leaves letters and flowers and even food for me and my team.
However, throughout those days, I kept avoiding him. Working in Jay's office and even in my co-worker's spaces.
I couldn't talk to him. I can't be with him. Because he knows the way to my heart because once I see him I know that I'd gladly let him ruin me again.
"I'm so proud of you! Another best-selling book!" Sunoo came into my office as I tried to get ready.
"And another book signing event!" He giggled which made me smile. "Are you ready, ma'am?"
I nodded and said, "I am."
The event started as soon as we arrived, it was fun having my readers there. Talking to them about what they thought about the book and answering their questions.
It made my day better than the morning before the event. However, that relief was short-lived.
As soon as I saw him next in line, I wanted to run and leave the event. But I couldn't.
