"Ehi, Cass. Perché hai scelto di andare qui?" [Translation: Hey, Cass. Why did you choose to go here?] I asked Cassandra. She's pulling me continuously inside this shitty club, which I don't know if it's still a club or a freaking live match. I rolled my eyes when I was hit by a random stranger. I can clearly see some people making out around. Like, hey! Get a room, it is freaking gross!

"Shanice, vuoi fare festa, vero? E penso che sia il posto più giusto dove andare per andare avanti," [T: Shanice, you want to party, right? And I think it is the rightest place to go for you to move on,] Cass answered which made me roll my eyes.

Then I realized why I wanted to go here...

But at the same time, I know that someone might get angry with my little actions right now.

"It is not, Mom will scold me after knowing that I went here again! The last time that she knew about my clubbing, she took my cards!" I said with a serious tone.

"Oh, come on! Shanice, matanda ka na! You can do ANYTHING you wanna do." I rolled my eyes.

Cassandra is my childhood friend, just like me, she's a Filipino living here in Italy. The only difference is, siya, nakauwi na ng Pilipinas. While me? I haven't. Well, I'm not interested naman. I'm contented here in Italy, bakit pa ako pupunta sa Pilipinas?

We sat on the high stool, she ordered a drink for the two of us. Samantalang heto ako, lutang. I'm still thinking about what happened yesterday.

My mom and I had an argument about the course I am taking. Well, matagal na 'to, but the issue arose again after Dad lost a case the other day.

She wants me to take entrepreneurship, but I couldn't. I want to be a script-writer one day. I want to be featured in the news, saying that I wrote the most watched movies and television shows' stories and script. I also want to publish a book. And my other option is law. I want to be a lawyer just like my dad.

Well, we had a little argument. Siguro kaya kami laging magkaaway ni Mom ay dahil magkaugali kami. I don't want to have a bad reputation here.

"How's Nikky?" I asked. Nakakapagtaka kasi na may time sa akin si Cass ngayon.

"Well, she's fine. Guess what's her first word?" My eyes widened with that.

"She could speak na?" gulat na tanong ko. She nodded excitedly.

"Papa..." she said. Her eyes suddenly became sad. Agad din naman siyang ngumiti at umiling. "It just hurts, Shanice. Ako 'yong narito, girl."

"Hindi naman siya malikot?" I tried diverting her attention. She just grinned mischievously.

"Well, she's not. You know that kid! Tinatakot din kasi ni Ate," she answered as she took two shots. I just shook my head. "When are you going to visit your inaanak? Grabe ka, girl! Tinaguan mo noong Pasko."

"Papasko for the kid or for the mother?"

"Both!" Sabay kaming natawa roon.

Nasa kalagitnaan ako ng pag-inom nang may isang lalaking humila sa akin. He's seriously looking at me while gritting his teeth.

"Vai a casa, Shanice." [Trans: Go home, Shanice.]

"Shaun?" I asked. He's glaring at me and it gives me chills down in my spine. "P-Paano mo nalamang nandito ako?" I asked again.

"I got you tracked." Ipinakita niya sa akin ang phone niya kaya napailing ako. Heto na naman siya sa hacking-hacking at tracking-tracking niya, eh.
