Logan's POV

"Mom?! Have you seen my gold necklace?" I yelled as I knocked on my mothers door.
She quickly opened it. "Yeah, here. I wore it the other day. Can you help me zip up this dress?" My mom turned her back towards me and lifted up her long brown hair. I located the gold zipper at my moms mid back and pulled it all the way up.
"There you go"
As my mom turned around facing me, I began to examine what she was wearing. She had on a red dress that fit semi tight around her petite body, and a pair of black pumps. Her hair was straight and hung down her back.
"Do you like?" my mom spoke as she raised her eyebrow awaiting for my approval.
"I love! Where'd you get this dress? It's gorgeous"
"Oh, girl now why would I tell you? So you can go out and buy it." She chucked.
I playfully rolled my eyes and headed back towards my room. I needed to finish getting dressed. My mom and dad are taking me and my best friend Chris out to dinner before we leave for New York tomorrow. Once I set foot in my room, I took in all that I was leaving behind. My room that I decorated when I was 16. Along by white wall, I had posters of my favorite fashion models. Ones like Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks and Adriana Lima. There's were the people that I looked up to. The people that I wanted to be just like. They were also the reason that I'm going to New York. So that I can chase my dream of becoming a big fashion model. My room had multiple boxes with words like 'Clothing' 'Makeup' and 'Miscellaneous Items' written on them, prepared for the move. I plop on my king sized bed that sits in the middle of my large room and let my thoughts take over. The fact that i was actually moving to New York was frightening, but exciting. Frightening because I was about to be away from my parents, who take care of me. But exciting because I will be able to pursue my career. When I get to New York, I have my new agent Veronica Casanova. She is the agent of Chanel Iman , Jourdan Dunn, and even Kendall Jenner. I met Veronica through a local fashion show that was held here, in California by my former agency, John Casablancas. I love JC but its for beginners. I have been there since I was 7 years old. When I first got there, I was greeted by Mr. Casablanca himself. He had told me that he saw me as a very big model. Ever since that day, I have been doing nothing but striving to the top and taking any opportunity that was good for me. I was lucky enough to be greeted by Veronica Casanova a year ago. We exchanged numbers and she told me that I had a career waiting for me in New York and if I signed with her, she would do everything to make my dream come true. Those were the only words that I needed to hear. My parents supported my career choice and did everything they could to help. They even got me an apartment in New York, that I will be sharing with Chris. They only agreed to do this if Chris came along to look after me. Chris on the other hand had no problem with it. He was a singer and wanted to pursue his career with that. Besides, it's nothing new for Chris to be looking after me. He's been doing it since we were younger.

"Logan, are you ready yet?" My mom called outside my door.

"Oh shit" I mumbled to myself. I ran to my door and opened it just a little. "Almost" I yelled out.

I ran back to my closet and grabbed a black long sleeve shift dress that had the back out. I took off my oversized sweatshirt that I was wearing and slipped on my dress. I then went back into my closet and towards the back. I reached down and grabbed one of my Christian Louboutin box. Once the box was open, I pulled out my black Red Bottoms.

"Hurry up, Logan!" My mom yelled outside.

I ignored her and made my way to my bed so that I could slip on my heels. I completed my hair before my mom called me in her room, so I was all set. Grabbing my Louis Vuitton clutch, I walked tuned off my light and walked out.

When I reached the bottom of the spiral staircase, I spotted Chris walking through the door. He was wearing a blue polo button down shirt that was buttoned all the way up. Under the collar, laid a gold chain. He had on a pair of straight leg khaki Levi pants with a pair of white high top forces. He actually looked really good. Chris was a fine boy, but I guess since I never looked at him in that way because I basically considered him as my brother.
