Chapter Thirty

"Mummy! Cecil is eating my cake!" Wyn cried to Rapunzel as the youngest Fitzherbert ate as much of the chocolate cake as he could.

"Ciddy, stop eating your sister's cake!" Rapunzel told her son, the table laughed at the scene.

"But Lizzy and Anne's cooking is so gooddd!!!" He said, mouth filled with chocolate cake, the table laughed even more. Another Sunday Off and family/friends dinner, the palace was filled with the laughter of the table but Cece's mind was filled with the actions of her dream.

"I know they are," Liz said proudly, a huge smile on her face. Varian gave his daughter a loving hug.

Flynn was holding Ev hand, they had yet told their family about their relationship and thought that now would be the perfect time, "Guys! Ev and I have something to tell you guys."

"Flynn and I have started dating!" He said excitedly, though no one was more excited than Wyn.

Liz and Cecil faced each other with a knowing smile, the ten and six year olds have been shipping evlynn for forever. Wyn gave Ev the biggest bearhug she thinks she has ever done as she squeals, "You're my brother now!" Ev blushed.

"Guinevere, there is a difference between dating and marriage," Ana explained as she tried remaining but Ev blush made her want to break into laughter. "Congrats."

Flynn felt his jaw drop a little but he took away his shock and smiled at Ana, "Thank you."

"Called it," Lex said making the room's attention turn to the raven haired girl. "It was obvious."

"No it wasn't," Flynn wasn't even sure why he was slightly offended by that, maybe it was because it came out of Lex Robertson's mouth or maybe it was because Lex can read Ev better than he could.

She smirked, the girl hadn't even attended to be rude with that and yet she still managed to offend one of the Fitzherbert, Lex wasn't sure if she was proud or annoyed. "Jr, no best friends are that close."

"How long have you two been dating?" Eugene asked Ev, the boy was sitting there, blushing like crazy as Wyn remained clinging onto him.

"About a week."

"And you didn't tell me?!" Spot asked in a tone in which the table couldn't tell whether or not he was upset or playing. He scoffed, "I though twins were meant to tell eachother everything."

"Do you remember when you had a crush on Alex?"

"Touché."

Alex coughed as he drank his water, a bit of it going up his nose, "You had a crush on me?"

Spot nodded, "Yeah, years ago, back in my musical theater stage." The Ruddigers flinch remembering Spot's theater stage, it wasn't that he had a bad voice but more that he never stopped singing, they were so happy when he grew out of it.

"It's Ana's birthday next month!" Wyn said to start up the dying conversation. "On February 2nd, you will be fourteen!"

Ana nodded, "Yep and then in nine months you will be fourteen."

"That's so far away!"

Liz laughed at her elder friend, "Wyn, your birthday was only three months ago!" Rapunzel smiled at her daughters' conversation, Wyn always wanted to be older, she wanted to be six then ten, ten then thirteen and now thirteen then fourteen.

"Fourteen is a very busy year Wyn-" Eugene started to tell his youngest daughter, Varian's muttering interrupting him for a second, ("you can say that again") "enjoy being thirteen while you can."

"Raven hated being thirteen, she hated how that mum was more strict since she was a teenager," Eli pointed to his elder sister who had been silent for the whole conversation.

"I still wish I could go back to being twelve."

Kari crossed her arms, "Being twelve is still not great."

"What's wrong with you?" Lex asked as she looked at Cece, the princess was lost in her mind as she stared at the wall, it would almost look creepy if Cece was not in a room filled with family, friends and people.

"Nothing." Cece was lying, there was something obviously wrong with her.

Cece can't do this anymore, bottle up and contain everything while she is learning new things about herself, while she is afraid of herself. She can't stay in Corona, a kingdom which is stalking and waiting for the moment she snaps, she needs to figure this out somewhere else, on the road, like her mum did. Cece didn't have to stay in Corona, she is an adult and it's not like she is going to be queen anytime soon.

"I'm leaving Corona."
