I heard,
Heaven sigh that night
The day you left me,
It sighed because it knew
It had just gained an angel

My angel,
You were and forever will be
My angel even in death
You still have my heart

My love,
Is still buried deep within
Your now cold and empty chest
That love will never go away

I still feel,
Your touch lingering on
My once warm hands
Now they are cold
Because you aren't here to
Hold them anymore

I still hear,
Your footsteps running through
The deep corridors of my heart
Late at night,
When no one else is listening
I am, I am still listening

I miss you,
Every day and every night
I'll be sitting at the fire
Wondering and pondering
All the aspects of life
And I think to myself
You should be here
To do this with me

I'll accidentally,
Start talking and asking you questions
Then I'll look over
At the seat you once sat on
And I'll remind myself
That you aren't here anymore

What we had,
Was more than love
It was two lost souls
Finding and saving one another
Feeling, connecting, and breathing
With each other's

What we had,
Was two people
Inhabiting one body
Forever entangled,
In each other's hearts

Slowly waiting,
For the day we would
Meet once more
And finally be able to say
I here and I'm not leaving

Till we meet again my love.
