Title: Injuries
Y/n's POV
I was in Erwin's office, sitting on his lap. His arm around my waist. We had an expedition tomorrow so I wanted to spend extra time with him
"Y/n" He says
"Yes?" I ask as I turn and look at him
"I need you to come back safe to me" He says
"You know I will" I say laughing. He doesn't laugh back so I stop and look confused
"I'm serious. I have something to tell you when we get back" He says
"Why not just tell me now?" I ask
"Because I can't" He says. I frown but nod
"Okay" I say as I lean against him. He presses a kiss to my temple
"I love you" He says
"I love you too" I say back
~Time Skip~
I was leading my squad. A titan was after us. I quickly detached from my horse and went over to it. I killed the titan effortlessly but my gear malfunctioned. I began falling as I headed towards the ground. I hit the ground and I felt my body become filled with pain.
It was only a 5 meter(about 16 feet)
I knew most of my bones were broken and I'm sure I probably damaged my spine as well. I coughed up blood as I struggled to get a grip on my breathing
"CAPTAIN!" I hear one of my squad members JJ say
"Hey.." I mutter weakly as I feel my vision and hearing start to go out. I feel myself get lifted up
"Ho... n... I... ot... yo..." She says right before I pass out

~Time Skip~
Erwin's POV
We had made it back from the expedition. I was in my office signing documents. A ring in my pocket
Where is Y/n? She should be here by now
I maintained calm as I came up with a logical solution as to why she wasn't here
She's a female which means she takes longer to get ready, therefore she must be shower-
My door slams open. Levi comes in disheveled
"What is it?" I ask
"Y/n, she-" Levi begins
"She what?" I ask standing up.
"Tch, if you'd let me finish, Y/n is in the infirmary" Levi says. I walk over and we both walk out
"Why is she in the infirmary?" I ask
"Her squad member brought her there after the mission. According to her squad member. Y/n killed a titan but her gear must've stopped working. She free fell and hit the ground. She broke a lot of bones and well...." Levi goes quiet
"What?" I ask
"She may not make it" Levi says. My eyes widened as I ran towards the infirmary. I opened the door to see Y/n unconscious, resting on the bed. I walked over and grabbed her hand.
No no no no
"I told you to be safe..." I mutter as a tear falls down my face
~A Couple Weeks Later~
Hange's POV
(Hange will be using They/Them)
It's been a few weeks since Y/n got injured. Erwin has barely slept or ate and me and Levi are worried for not only him but Y/n as well.
I was cleaning Y/n's injuries
"Hange....?" A scratchy voice asks. My eyes widened as I looked up to see Y/n staring at me. I take my glasses off and clean them. I then put them back on
"Are you really awake?" I ask
"What... happened...?" She asks. A giant smile appears on my face as I sprint out
"LEEEEVI! ERWIIIIIN! SHE'S AWAKE!" I scream at the top of my lungs. Fast footsteps on both sides came towards me. I see Levi and Erwin. Erwin quickly pushes past me and runs in
Y/n's POV
I saw Erwin run in. He looked awful and I knew he hadn't slept nor ate. He looked at me and smiled while I frowned looking at his weak state
"You're okay.." He says relieved
"You haven't eaten or slept.. how long have I been out?" I ask
"A maximum of 4 weeks so about a month" Hange says. My eyes widen as I stare at Erwin
"Erwin, you need to take care of yourself. Come back when you've eaten" I say as I point towards the door
"I'm the comm-" He began
"Out!" I say more sternly. He walks out
~30 minutes later~
He comes back in
"I ate" He says. I look to Hange and Levi and they nod. I then hold my non broken arm out as if to motion to come over to me. He does so and sits next to me as tears fall from his face. His hands move to my face
"You're okay..." He says happily as he cries. I smile at him
"Of course I am" I say. He leans in and we kiss slowly.
"OOH!" Hange yells. Erwin breaks away from me as we both mentally kill Hange for ruining the moment. I then turn to Erwin to see him on one knee
"What are you doing?" I ask. He puts his hand in his pocket and pulls out a ring
"Y/n L/n, will you marry me?" He asks. My eyes widened. I then smiled
"Of course I will" I say
