Shoto and Izuku took you back to the room. Shoto put you down in the corner, taking the blanket and gently covering you with it. You would've fought back, or said something, but you were too lost in thought. Shoto kissed your forehead before turning to leave. "Izuku, go see Tomura. We need it finished within the next few days. I'll go take care of Katsuki." He said, almost like he was demanding Izuku.
Izuku smiled and nodded, heading towards the door with Shoto. He seemed excited. What were they talking about? What had they been working on? You held onto the blanket as you heard their footsteps retreat down the hall. Now you were alone again. Alone to think about what you'd been told. It couldn't be true, right? It just couldn't. You wouldn't do something like that. A flashback hit you.
You were talking to Izuku. It seemed like you were ordering him to do something. He was reluctant, almost like he was begging you to not have to do it. Eventually, he nodded, agreeing. It cut to Izuku in an alleyway with that brown-haired girl. She seemed almost relieved to see him. He smiled softly, adjusting the grip on the knife behind his back.
You snapped back to reality, your breathing a little sped up. Izuku had killed that girl. Was that Uraraka? You shivered slightly, clinging tighter to the blanket. He had killed her on your orders. You were the reason she was dead. You were probably the reason hundreds of people were dead. You whimpered softly, tearing up.
All this time, you thought you were the victim. That you were the one who'd been wronged. But was that true? You did this to yourself, so you had to deserve it, right? Nothing made sense anymore. You felt so hopeless and confused. You looked up, hearing Shoto walking down the hall again. He had Katsuki with him this time.
You backed up into the corner as much as you could, pulling your knees up to your chest. It wasn't long until Shoto opened the door. He let Katsuki inside first. Your eyes widened as soon as you saw Katsuki. He had a muzzle on and a collar around his throat. Shoto held a leash in his hand. "Don't worry, it's just a safety precaution, dear." He said with a very slight smile.
Once Katsuki caught sight of you he started fighting against his restraints again. He seemed to have a burning hatred towards you. To be honest, you didn't blame him. You were a shitty person and he had every right to hate you. Shoto yanked Katsuki closer by the leash. "Quit it." He spat.
"You'll get your turn to do what you want later. We discussed this already." Shoto seemed annoyed. You wondered how many times you'd already done this. How many times you'd been forced to forget, only to remember all over again. Katsuki stopped, huffing. He looked away, leaning against the wall. "Good boy." Shoto's words just seemed to make Katsuki feel worse.
You held onto the blanket, staying in the corner. "Now darling, I hope you understand why we can't just let you go back to power immediately. You'll be able to in due time, you just need to prove that you're back to your old self again." Shoto explained, looking over at you. You weren't listening, though. You couldn't. Too many thoughts were racing through your mind.
Suddenly, an image flashed through your mind. You were kneeling in front of someone in a suit. Like you were pledging allegiance. But you couldn't see his face. Izuku and another boy stood next to him. The second boy had light blue hair and bright red eyes. He was a little taller than Izuku.
The image left your mind just as quickly as it appeared. You looked down, trying to figure out what you'd just seen. Izuku was there. And two other people you didn't recognize. You figured the blue-haired boy was Tomura, but you couldn't know for sure. "Sweetheart?" Shoto questioned. You looked up at him, not expecting him to talk.
Shoto smirked, seeming like he knew what was going on. That scared you. The thought of both him and Izuku knowing exactly what was happening in your mind. You shied into the corner more, holding onto the blanket. Shoto was silent after that. The room was eerily quiet. After a while, Shoto stopped leaning against the wall.
"I need to speak with Izuku. I'll be back." Shoto went to leave, tying Katsuki's leash around the door handle. He closed the door behind himself without another word. You looked between the door handle and Katsuki. You could tell that it wasn't going to hold. Maybe Shoto had tied it like that on purpose. You figured he did.
Katsuki took the collar off. Even if he was pissed off, he wasn't stupid. He looked over at you. "You lied to me. You made me feel bad for you. You're the reason I'm here in the fucking first place!" He yelled. Even if he was mad, you could hear the pain in his voice, too. You backed up to the best of your ability.
"You're the reason my best friend is dead. You're the reason everything fell apart. You corrupted them and you ruined everything. You destroyed everything we worked towards!" Katsuki went over to you and grabbed you by the neck. His expression showed anger, but you knew he was feeling more than that. "You're the reason our old classmates are dead. You killed them. You fucking caused all of this. And you're going to fucking pay for it!"
Katsuki's grip on your neck tightened. You choked helplessly, grabbing Katsuki's wrist and trying to pry him off. "You ruined our lives. You made all of us go through so much fucking pain. And you haven't had to suffer at all. You don't know half of what we've fucking been through because of you." He spat. Was he.. fighting back tears? You weren't sure whether you should feel bad or not.
"I had to watch my best friend die because of you! I had to see the people I cared about the most become monsters!" Katsuki seemed to be breaking more as he spoke. His hand was starting to get warmer. "M-My parents.. I had to watch them get killed by my fucking childhood friend. All because of your stupid orders!" Katsuki punched you across the jaw, making you cry out in pain. His hand was burning hot now.
Katsuki stopped choking you. But the relief didn't last long. He grabbed your shirt and punched you again. You felt blood start to trickle down from your nose. "Monster. You're a monster! You caused all of this!" Katsuki didn't stop hitting you as he spoke. With each blow, you started to get more and more light-headed.
The room seemed to spin. Katsuki's voice sounded further away. "You're the reason they're dead. You're the reason all of us had to suffer!" A few droplets of water fell onto your neck and clothes. Was Katsuki crying..? Your vision was too blurry for you to tell. After a few moments, Katsuki finally stopped. You collapsed into the corner, just vaguely able to see Izuku and Shoto holding onto Katsuki by his shoulders.
It was getting harder to stay awake. Your head hurt. You wanted to go to sleep. You wouldn't hurt that way. Your eyelids started to get heavier, but you thought you saw Izuku walk up to you. It was too blurry to tell. It wasn't much longer until you gave in to the pull of sleep and passed out.
