I woke up in my bed of sea weed to my mom telling me "Scarlet honey you have school to go to" I get out of bed and get dressed and swim up to the surface to wait for my father. He finally get here so I turn my Fins into feet and change into the clothes he brought for me. "So honey, are you excited for school" my father said smiling I nodded and he drove me for my first day at school and on land.
When we got there I was so nervous I walked into my classes I gave a small smile when the teachers introduced me, then sat and didn't talk to any one. During lunch I sat by myself reading a book it was called 'Dark Angels' when a boy about my age walked up to me "Hey I'm Mark, are you new here?" He asked I looked up from my book and smiled "Yea I'm new, My names Scarlet" I said putting my hand out to shake his, to be honest I don't know why they do this, he smiled and shook it he say with me for lunch.
