Chapter 35

I woke up the next morning to the alarm going off. Me and Reece were getting the train to Accrington today to spend Christmas with his family and the other lads were with their families.

We got ready and went to get some breakfast before joining everyone in Charlie and Tarlya's room. We all sat and talked for about an hour, waiting until people had to leave for their trains home. Chris left first as he was catching a flight and then Emma and Leah left together to get the train back to Scotland. Barclay and Jake soon had to go and Tom and Tarlya both got the train to Southampton. This left me, Reece, Toni, James, Casey and Charlie. I was sat on the bed, talking to James, Casey and Charlie about Christmas and Toni and Reece were sat on the floor close to us having a conversation. The lads carried on talking and I stopped for a second, catching a bit of their conversation.

"You're one of the best things that happened to her" Toni was saying to Reece. I had known Toni and the rest of the girls for over a year over Twitter and they therefore knew what kind of stuff I had been through. "God knows where she would be now if she didn't have you and the rest of the lads of course. I'm not gonna lie, she was a mess before you came along and I know she is still going through shit but she's coping with it in a better way now and that's down to you." I couldn't help but smile. I turned away and could feel Reece looking at me. I checked the time and saw that me and Reece needed to go or we would miss the train. I stood up and told Reece.

"I'll go get our stuff from our room" he said. I offered to help him but he refused and walked out to our room.

"Alice come here a second" Toni said, beckoning me to where she was sat. "Jake mentioned to me about what happened at the train station the other day. Are you okay?" She asked, sounding concerned.

"Yeah, it was just a bad day that's all" I replied, nodding my head.

"It doesn't sound like just a bad day. Alice you were going to jump. You told me you were fine now" Toni said.

"I am. Well I was until then. I just felt like shit and overreacted. It was nothing" I said, not wanting to go into it. Reece walked into the room and I stood up to say goodbye to everyone.

"You tell me if you feel like that again okay" Toni said and pulled me into a hug. I nodded, smiling at her, and walked over to the other lads to give them a hug goodbye since we weren't going to see each other for over 10 days. I took my suitcase off Reece and we walked to the station, arriving just as our train pulled in.

We sat down and I plugged my earphones into my phone, putting on a playlist that consisted of Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, 5sos, McBusted and Ariana Grande. I closed my eyes and rested my head on Reece's shoulder as he put his arm around me, listening to his own music.

I must have fallen asleep because I was woken up by Reece telling me that we were at the station. I rubbed my eyes, probably smudging my make up and grabbed my suitcase, walking off the train. It was just going dark and I felt half asleep, I'd suddenly gone really tired.

Lynsey was waiting outside for us by the car. When she saw us she gave Reece a hug and then me, saying she had missed both of us. When we got to the house Lexi came running down the stairs and into the living room where we had sat down. She jumped onto Reece's knee, giving him a big hug and telling him that she's missed him loads. She then came over to me and gave me a hug too. Lynsey made us something to eat and we all sat down and had a catch up, before going to bed because I was shattered.

The next few days were spent with Jamie, Lynsey and Lexi and a few other people from Reece's family came round every now and again. Lexi was getting more and more excited about Christmas which was now only two days away.

I woke up that morning and realised I still had to get a few bits and pieces for Reece for Christmas and a present for Jamie, Lynsey and Lexi. I got ready and told Reece that I was going to town to get some stuff, which was only a five minute walk away.

"Do you know your way around? Do you want me to come with you?" he asked.

"No I'll be fine, I know how to get there and I'll find my way around. You can't come anyway, you can't see what I'm buying" I said, winking at him before walking downstairs and out of the house, quickly saying goodbye to the others, even though I wouldn't be long.

Once I got to town I went into a few shops, buying some things I hoped Reece would like. I then bought Lynsey a necklace, Jamie some aftershave and Lexi a Frozen Anna dress. I got a subway for lunch and sat down, texting Reece that I'd be home soon.

I began walking back and noticed that someone was following me. I ignored him and walked a bit quicker, trying to get home as fast as I could. I could hear footsteps behind me speed up and turned to see him right behind me. He was dressed all in black with his hood up so I couldn't see his face. He grabbed my arm and pulled me into the alleyway that we had just passed. I tried to shout but he put his hand over my mouth, dragging me further into the alleyway.

"Shout out and you're dead" he whispered into my ear, pinning me up against the wall. I was too scared to utter a word. I tried to pull away from him as he leant towards me, pushing him away. He took hold of my wrists and slammed them into the wall.

"Come on now, I don't want to fight" he said quietly I continued to struggle but there was no point in trying, he was too strong. I squeezed my eyes closed, knowing I wasn't going to be about to stop what was about to happen.

A/N

Sorry I haven't updated in a few days. I haven't had the best week and I just haven't had the motivation to do anything at all, let alone update. I'm finding that quite a lot recently which isn't good for me and so fanfic writing is going to take a backseat for a while and I probably won't update every two or three days like I try to. It could be then but it could be a week or longer. I know it's not much of an excuse but I'm quite stressed at the minute and a lot of things are getting me down so I need to concentrate on myself for a while, sorry. I wouldn't normally do this and I feel like a bad author but yeah, things are getting bad so I just need a bit of a break.

That aside, I have a few good plots coming up (well I hope they're good) so I hope you keep on reading and keep on enjoying the story. I'm going to try and update again tonight but like I said before I might not be in the mood and I have a ton of schoolwork to do. I apologise for being a bad author but ily all and I hope all of you are good x
