* a few weeks later*
Me and Tk had passed our home study and multiple other test that we had to have done and we were allowed to take Ellie home with us in 2 days so we wanted to get her room ready .

"Okay so you can get the bottom of the wall and I'll get the top ." I said Tk as we opened the cab of light green Ellie picked out

"I can get the top ." Tk said looking at me

"Tk your short and I'm a lot taller than you ."

"Fine ." Tk said laughing when he put a dollop of pain on the tip of my nose

"Dork." I said putting one on his nose

We got to painting the walls before building the furniture

"Do you think she'll like us ?" Tk asked looking up at me

"T we've met with her multiple times she loves us she'll just might need a minute to get used to us ." I said as I continued painting

"Yeah I get that ." He said going back to painting

"My mom is not gonna leave her alone when she sees her ." I said laughing

"That I can see ." Tk said laughing

A few hours later the whole room was a nice light green and me and Tk started building her furniture

We heard a knock on the door

"I'll get it ." Tk said getting out of his criss cross apple sauce position to go get the door

"Dad what are you doing here ?" I head Tk say from a distance as I got up

I got up and went to go join the conversation

"Judd told me ." He said looking at us

Tk looked back at me as I raised a eyebrow in confusion

"He stole my phone the other day at lunch ."Tk said looking at me then back at his dad

"I'm so happy for you guys ." Owen said

"Thank you captain strand ."

"For the love of God Carlos just call me owen ." Owen said causing me to bite my younger

Making Tk laugh

"Is there anything I can do to help ."

" you wanna build furniture with us?" I asked

"Sure I've been needing to do something constructive.
