Rose woke up to the sound of Gemma slamming the doors to go to work. Rose ground and got out of bed. She went for a shower and brushed her teeth, then wore her short denim skirt, a white shirt and a bikini top underneath. She wanted to get a tan. She did her makeup and decided to put on some lip gloss

She towel-dried her hair and put it in an up-down style. She tied a hair tie on the bottom of her shirt so a little bit of her stomach would show. She put on her chuck Taylor's and sat on the steps outside, waiting for the boys to pick her up

When they arrived, Eyeball got out of the car so Rose can get in the middle between Ace. 'Shit' she thought. ''Hey, ass hats'' she said and sat down. The boys greeted her back

''We're gonna play mailbox baseball'' Eyeball said as he sat in the car

Rose nodded. For once she was nervous being around Ace.

''Billy you first'' Ace passed the baseball to Billy. He sat up and hit the boxes as we drove past. After the fifth, he hit a wooden one but it didn't fall off

''Rose your up'' He passed her the bat

Rose swapped seats with Ace. He 'accidentally touched her ass while swapping the seat. Rose blushed slightly and started hitting the boxes. She had to sit on her knees so she could reach. Wearing a skirt in the wind does not go well. Especially when Ace was watching her.

After the seventh box, she missed the eighth. ''Fuck'' she muttered ''Here'' she passed the bat to Vince.

She swapped seats again with Ace and sat down. She took Eyeball's beer he had in his hand and took a swig. Eyeball rolled his eyes and smiled when she gave it back to him.

''Fuck'' Vince yelled as he missed the fifth box. He handed the bat to Ace, still cursing.

Rose smirked. She looked at Ace who was hitting the boxes. She admired his looks again. He was perfect to her. After the tenth box, he missed. He sat back down and smirked ''I won''

They drove back to the field behind Eyeballs house. Everyone got out of the car, doing their own things. Eyeball was giving Vince a haircut, Billy was cleaning his pocket knife, Ace was cleaning car parts and Rose was lying on the trailer, she took her shirt off revealing her red bikini top

''Who's going to Ricky's party next week'' she asked, an arm over her face slightly so the sun couldn't get in her face.

''We're all going'' Billy replied as he stared at her.

Ace noticed and got jealous ''Keep your eyes to yourself'' he glared

Billy quickly looked away ''Hey stop moving I could stab you with these scissors'' Eyeball said

''Pick me up at ten then, will ya?'' Rose said

''Mhm,'' Ace replied.

''Someone come to the convenience store with me. I want Pepsi'' she said as she stood up. She put her shirt in her bag

''Put your shirt on or you're not going anywhere'' Ace growled, cigarette in between his teeth

Rose ignored him. ''I'll get you a beer at Irby's if you come'' she asked him

Ace stood up ''C'mon then'' Rose smirked and got in the car with him

''We could walk you know'' she said as he started the car

He ignored her and started driving

After a few turns, Rose noticed that they weren't going the right way ''Irby's and the convenience store is over there''

He smirked ''Calm your pretty Lil head doll. We're going somewhere better'' he smirked

''Should I trust you'' Rose smirked

Ace looked at her and smirked back then looked at the road''I won't take no for an answer''

He parked in a field. It wasn't Eyeballs. It was all alone. Deserted most likely

''Why did you take us here'' she asked

''We need to talk'' he replied as he lit a cigarette

Rose got nervous ''about what''

''About what you said yesterday'' he blew out his smoke ''did you mean it''

''If I didn't mean it I wouldn't have said it'' she smirked

He smirked back ''I dumped Louise by the way'' as he took another drag

''How comes'' she asked and took his cigarette and took a drag, she handed it back to him.

''Because I like you'' he smirked and dropped his cigarette outside his window. He pulled her closer to him. They both leaned in. Before they could kiss, Rose asked ''Do you mean it''

''Every word'' he kissed her. Rose had butterflies in her stomach. She kissed back and got on top of him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, while he was feeling her curves.
