Lyra POV

Darkness, cold, alone, thats all i could feel. You know how people say your life will flash before your eyes as you die, well its a fucking lie. It was black, it was like one second I was looking at Ellison the next thing I know, the world that was once before me was nothing but pitch darkness. Ellison, her eyes, they where glistening like they had a clear coat over them, she knew what happened, she was crying. To think we where going to tell them today but now who knows if anyone will ever know about us. No I can't think like that I will make it out of here. I will Live. If not for me for her. I can't do that to her.

Ellison POV

Faragonda and the other teachers where working on Lyra for what seemed like eternity. What if she didn't make it was all I was thinking about but, I mean she had to, Lyra is not the kind of person to give up. She wouldn't go down without a fight, especially with Albus still out there.

"Hey Ellison I know you probably don't want to move from this spot, but you need some rest, like Faragonda said, we won't know anything till the morning," Celeste told me, putting her hand on my shoulder. "Yeah but what if its sooner, what if she wakes up and i'm not there," I explained starting to panic. "Hey listen to me, she is fine, she would want you to get some rest and she's strong she will make you through this," Celeste told. I simply nodded my head knowing I wouldn't win this fight and she was somewhat right, in what she was saying. I just hope she was right about Lyra pulling through this.

"Ellison," I hear a soft voice say. Harmony. I didn't even think about her she was losing her sister, while I made such a big deal about a girl who I barely know. But I did know her. I know her fears, her ticks, how to help. Harmony, though she she knew Lyra since the day she was born. "Oh, Harmony I am so sorry here I am making a big deal about thsi when she was your sister," I say starting to tear up and ramble on. "Ellison, listen, I knew the day she met you, I well I could feel that you would be special to her, I could see it everytime she looked at you and you at her, you guys love each other. And she loves you too, so yes you do have every right to look the way you do, I mean you where there when she attacked, I can't imagine what I would have done," Harmoney says bringing me into a hug. "You knew," Is all I could manage to get out. "Of course she's my twin sister I can basically read her mind, and I knew she could never possinbly like guys," she said making the both of us laugh a little. We needed that. We need each other. "Thank you, and I'm sorry we didn't tell you sooner," I say. "Its fine, I understand you werent ready, and Lyra well I knew she wasn't ready to come out she's too scared of mom," She says.

The rest of the night we just sat there together telling stories. Harmony told me all about her and Lyra childhood. From the time she beat up her first trainer, to the refusal of princess and music triaining, to when she got her first sword from her dad. Then I almost heard the story of why she doens't transform anymore but I made Harmony stop. "Wait Lyra should tell me this it sounds personal," I say. "Of course, well maybe you should hear about the time mom made her take on of her friends boys to the dance. I've never seen Lyra's face so bright red," Harmoney laughed as she talked me joining in too. "Girls, somethings happened," Faragonda says breaking our laughter. With that we bolted down the hall.

Lyra POV

What is that, a bright light flashed, I stared at it as it seemed coming closer and closer. I tired running away, in the opposite direction but the light was feeling the room there was no where to go. "NO I DON'T WANT TO DIE" I scream as everything goes white......
