Our Fate

Chapter 1: Arival

Emma couldn't breath as the lump in her throat just seemed to grow larger as the plane flew farther away from her hometown. She had never been one to leave like this but going to college was one thing she knew she had to do. She had gotten a scholarship for one of the most lavish colleges in mystic falls. Even though the town was small Emma still knew that the school would be amaizing. Although there was one thing that Emma feared and that was the thought of making new friends that was never something that  she was good at and she hoped that at this school she would at least fit in.

Emma did not look like the other girls or at least she thought she didnt. She had long Brown curls to her waist and striking blue eyes, she had freckles that were on every inch of her nose and cheks and even though her whole life she was told she was beautiful she never beloved anyone who told her that. But soon her time of thought was interrupted by the sound of the captain telling them all they were landing. So Emma shakily put on her seat belt and breathed in deeply awaiting what ever was waiting for her at mystic falls.

As soon as Emma had settled into her small dorm she looked around and smiled. She had finally done it. She had made it to college and she was hoping she would have so much fun here. And after a while she had decided I go out and do some sight seeing or just to get acquainted with her new home. So Emma threw on a pair of sneakers and grabbed her purse allowing that small boost of new confidence to take over her.

As she stepped outside she breathed in the fresh air and smiled she was so happy to finally feel so happy in one place and for it to be here felt so weird. SHe had never thought that someplace so small could feel so much like home.

After going into a few small show and exploring the town for a while Emma spotted a old looking cemetery in he !middle of the town. So being curious she decided to go and explore the grounds there hoping to find something interesting. Although instead something interesting found her. As she was walking she spotted a girl sitting down on the grass. She seemed to be writing in a journal of some sort.

Emma worked up a spark of courage and went up behond the girl .

"Hello" Emma said weakly. Her strong English accent coming through.

As soon as the girl realized that someone was there she seemed to jump and close her book. "Hi" the girl said raking a hand through her hair.

Gwen smiled in a attempt to someone calm what seemed to be the started girl. "Umm. I'm Emma I'm new in town" she said politely.

"Hello Emma I'm Elina. It's nice to meet you " she said as she smiled and shook Emma's hand.

Emma smiled brightly "Nice to meet you too" she said as she shook the girls hand. Emma hoped that this could be the beginning of a great freindship.
