Do you know that you're pretty?
In my case, I would be lying if I said No. So, my answer to this question is: Yes, I know that I am pretty.
I also know that you now believe that I am a confident person. Maybe you even think I'm a narcissist. My problem is that you're wrong.
I know that I am pretty, like I know that the sun shines white. But that doesn't mean that I don't see the sun as a yellow orb. You asked me about my knowledge, not my view. I answered the question with what I know to be a fact. I am pretty. What I see in the mirror is an average looking girl who can get average grades on pretty much every subject except history. Average.
A girl who spent the last 7 years trying to figure out how to love herself and trying to find her place in this world. I learned that I am pretty in that time. Because of how people treated me and because I was the only person I could find who would disagree. I realised that my view could only be wrong. So, I stopped looking. But it might always be the biggest mystery to me.I guess what you really need to know about me, is that there's always plenty that I don't say. Even now.
